Families of Newtown shooting victims sue gunmaker, seller
Published December 15, 2014

HARTFORD, Conn. – A law firm representing the families of nine of the 26 people killed and a teacher injured at the Sandy Hook Elementary School says it has filed a lawsuit against the manufacturer, distributor and seller of the rifle used in the shooting.

The negligence and wrongful death lawsuit asserts that the Bushmaster AR-15 rifle should not have been made publicly available because it is a military weapon unsuited for civilian use.

In addition to Bushmaster, the families have named Camfour, a firearm distributor, and Riverview Gun Sales, the store where the Bushmaster rifle was purchased in 2010. Messages seeking comment from the defendants were not immediately returned.

The 40-page complaint was filed in superior court in Bridgeport.

Why be outraged, this lawsuit is going nowhere, but I suspect a Bloomberg group is funding it to keep AR-15's in the news cycle.

They need to fight this big time, settling would bankrupt all arms dealers and manufacturers.
I suspect this has some big money from the anti's behind it.

Apparently the kid did have a drivers license, so they should sue the DMV as well ...

There are more conspiracy theories about this shooting than I can count, that I have up trying to connect the dots.

I'm sure the shooter drove to those locations as well.

So they need to sue the road builders and owners, the mom's who bore the shooters, the men who impreganted the shooters, the doctors who delivered them, the hospitals where they were delivered, the police who should have stopped him because I'm sure the for got to signal a turn somewher, the locations where the shooting occurred for not providing adequate security,.....

Exactly, sue everyone makes sense right. I'm going to sue all the fashion magazines that say I'm not perfect cause I'm fat..then I'm suing the fast food industry then I'll finish it off with a lawsuit to the car industry cause I can't fit behind the wheel of every car. It's the American way of thinking. Or pointing the finger

Don't forget the farmers who supply the meats, grains and vegetables, the truckers who haul it and the factors who refine it.
