d'oh!

Never have stepped in one let alone spent my $$ there....they have **** over priced coffee. They also are a gun free zone (pass and strike two) but now they want us to believe that THEY are the answer to " new dialog " regarding racial divide in our country. You know the same racial divide that THIS ADMINISTRATION has single handedly sent back to the fifties and the SAME administration that THIS GUY supported and continues to support. You just can't make this **** up....

The CEO had to close his twitter account due to mocking tweets.

Funny stuff.

Charbucks isn't going to effect any part of society, they still haven't succeeded in making people say "venti" instead of "large".

When did coffee become political?

Is it still PC to say you prefer coffee black?

I do luvs me some stahbucks, I have to admit. I like my java the way TW likes his men: strong and black.
Of course he'll like a white guy as long as he's venti enough.

I've liked starbucks ever since they were just a small business in seattle. Hell, I practically grew up on starbucks.

That being said, this is a hilariously off-tone campaign they are running. I have no idea what sort of crack the OP is smoking to be tying their poorly thought out campaign to the current administration....

The actual funny part of this is that starbucks is considered the icon of gentrification. It isn't known as bringing people together, but as signalling a change in a neighborhood and the pricing out of an older, and frequently racially mixed population which can no longer afford to live there. That being said, I love me some starbucks, and eagerly await their appearance in my neighborhood (they're at least 3 blocks away right now, way too far)

First, I drink coffee without adulteration, BLACK, so FO with your race discussions.

Second, StarBurnt coffee is not very good. It's popular with folks that like frufru milk and sugar crap with a little coffee thrown in for flavor. It also why people don't care that they burn their coffee beans.

Prolly, OTOH, I wouldn't even try their coffee if it passed the brown paper bag test. At least I'm not the guy diluting pure black coffee with (whitey) cream.

Buy a coffee pot and wake up 5 minutes earlier to make it.

Ok... I'm not sure a lot of the people here would get the "paper bag test". But that was funny and dark (but not too dark).

I drink espresso roast coffee in the reusable K-cup. Darkest and best tasting roast at Wally World.
No Creamer or Sugar hear.
But I'm thinking about buying up some Kona. Any Kona is better than the bucks.

I drink the free coffee in the break nook at work. It's free, it's coffee flavored. At home, drink whatever coffee we got on sale. At the end if the day, it's hot water over ground up beans, just drink it and stop making it into some big deal.

BTW, Starbuck$ sucks, the one way to successfully ruin coffee each and every time is to burn the ever living $h!t out of it like they do....

Mine is roasted locally too, my garage. Mostly Costa Rican Tre Rios beans. This week I broke out some Jamaican Blue Mountain, it was good, but not worth the extra money.

I demand a coffee-only line.

Tailgater clearly does tho. You should revoke his platinum membership. Or at least make him spend 7 min in the closet with TW as punishment.

Not me, drink coffee the way you enjoy coffee. I love hot black coffee, but I have even been known to buy one of those cold bottled Starbucks coffee drinks on the road. More like coffee flavored chocolate milk than coffee, but a good hit of caffeine and cool liquid on a hot day.

I've become a fan of the aeropress. Buy good coffee, press it... and add a shot of International Delight's cold stone sweet cream.

Heaven in a cup. I like kirkland Colombian coffee.

Sounds like Starbucks lost a customer they never had and never would have had. I'm sure they are upset about that since it was the target audience. The dumb asses.

This to me is the definitive word on Starbucks:

Do not watch with hot liquid in your mouth lest you spew. This is an oldie but goodie, apologies to those who may have already seen it.
