yes it is a plastic sweater box and they run about $7.00 at kmart or walmart. you can jazz it up by putting the tops and bottoms of ceder boxes on the bottom.

I have been looking to purchase a humidor over the past couple of days now and to actually see the homemade version you made is a really good idea.

I don't need the pretty wood box type.

Thanks for the picture.

To store my boxes of cigars I am using a ten gallon, long aquarium. I sealed the plastic top that covers the edge of the glass with some silicone seal so it would have a tight seal to the glass. I then cut a piece of Plexiglas to fit inside the grove for the plastic top. For humidification I am using a piece of the florist block on each end with some PG solution. I can store about ten boxes of cigars for a cost of around $20, and it does not look too bad.
