Howdy Ya'll,

It's your old unklebill again.....

I know it's been a while but I am suddenly inspired to post....

I was looking at the Cupido Criollo's ....man I love them cigars.... and I saw a bid from RE of Lubbock TX. Well, I am in Lubbock TX and we have a group of Hub City Herfers that meets every week, for cigars and adult beverages.
So what I'm trying to ask is, how can I get ahold of this fellow?

Thanks,

Unklebill

Hey Bill. I've met him at the local shop's herfs. I think there's an "RE" and an "SE", father and son. It was none other than the cliffster that introduced them to Cigarbid!
When I met SE, he was wearing a smiley-face cap and I introduced myself, saying, "A cigarbid-aholic, eh?" He said, "What's that? I got this from Cigars International". The next time I saw him, he called me a ****. Maybe he'll be at the Dec. 8 herf. Have you called yet to get on the invitation list? It's this Sunday!
SE and RE, are you out there?

I have never been treated with a greater amount of warmth and hospitality than when I visited Lubbock. Don't dog these fine people out, nor their hometown. The place is a "Gem on the High Plains". Oops, I guess I shouldn't have let that secret out.

All that and he was even rooting for the opposing team! This place isn't all that bad - Unklebill resides here now, and even Bobby Knight calls Lubbock home now. Don't cuss us or we'll throw chairs at you!

Now I see why Tim was so complimentary of my hospitality - ya knocked me off the "Mad Dawg Combo" bid! Well I'll fix that - I'll just toss some more money at it.

A few miles west of Lubbock, there's a town called Levelland. Now that's truth in advertising!

There's also a town just north called Plainview - another example of truth in advertising! It cracks me up when just the opposite occurs in naming something - our first home was in an area called "Willow Springs" or "Willow Grove" or something like that. The builder had planted about 6 little willow trees on the corner leading into our cul-de-sac; they all died the 2nd winter.
Bill, sorry I missed! Don't give up on me! I'll see you Sunday for sure.
