I'm sorry for our loss. I had such optimistic hopes for Paul Ryan and for the impact I thought he'd have on our country's future. I'm saddened to learn that he's fallen into a trap from which he'll likely never escape.

The sad truth is that he did it to save the Republican party that is really no longer the Republican party.

I am not sure why anyone would want that position considering how fractured the Republican party is.

The first thing he needs to do is keep certain senators out of house business. He needs to nip that in the bud.

if he was Paula Ryan asking for weekends and family time...watch out!!! Plus he voted against stuff like that. Do as I say, not as I do.

Guess he's lucky he ain't the VP, and luckier he didn't go from VP to Prez if the worst thought happened to the Prez. Tough to insist on a 9 to 5 5 day a week job.

However, putting aside my views of his contradictions , I admire this stance that he is taking as a human being and wish he would take center stage on this issue for others.
