Hamtramck Michigan has elected a Muslim majority city council. I thought this is interesting and would lead to a good debate here. I have no problem with this because the people of this community legally voted them in.

Pay attention to what goes on there. It'll be happening in other towns faster than you can blink.

Now, what you have to really watch for is how they go about sliding in their 7th Century laws onto the books while everyone sleeps.

I was at a party where someone was quoting a news article (that they were told about) about an unbelievably disasterous upcoming neighborhood zoning case. I Googled it and it was never in the news. It was in a satire column in neighborhood HOA rag. But it morphed from one person to another and SOMETHING had to be done about this !!!! This is when the disinformative emails start flying.

No particular political persuasion at work necessarily.

I've seen multiple posts on multiple websites, stating that Dearborn, Mi. is under Sharia law, all of them from right wingers.

The National Report had a satirical article about Dearborn enacting Sharia law. The mayor of Dearborn has vehemently denied this as he should. Dearborn, like an other American city is governed by American law.

Sure it is....you keep on believing that. That's why LE chased off some folks ( only after taking them into custody and looking @ their cell phones and getting ALL their pertinent info ) a cpl years back who were excercising their 1st Amend rights by passing out Christian pamphlets " outside " of the venue of a Muslim festival of some sort. It looked like they sent out the entire force and the cops were covering over their camera lens. They ( Dearbornistan police ) told then @ what distance they should remain or be arrested. If you've not been there, you should take some time to visit, you'll feel like you've left the US

T, yes that happened. In court Dearborn lost, as they should have. Also Dearborn had to pay about 100K. I do not know the specifics of the court case, so I cannot say if it was based on freedom of speech or freedom of religion or both.
