"It was just eight days ago that President Barack Obama reassured the nation that there was no imminent threat of terror attacks from ISIS. 10:22 a.m.: The San Bernardino police chief praised the heroism of his officers, who led terrified survivors out of the building and were able to track and stop the killers before they could strike again. The police also cooperated with the local FBI branch, which was called in to help dispose of booby traps at the Redlands home of one of the subjects. In a somewhat humorous twist, the man whom police chased Wednesday evening turned out not to be a terrorist, but was booked anyway on a misdemeanor warrant. 10:15 a.m.: At the press conference, the FBI says it is not yet ready to conclude that the attacks were international terrorism. However, officials confirmed that Farook had traveled abroad extensively in 2014, including Pakistan. Malik had entered the country on a K-1 visa, which is a nonimmigrant visa for people engaged to U.S. citizens, and traveled on a Pakistani passport. 9:55 a.m.: At a press conference in San Bernardino, police rule appear to rule out workplace violence as a motive. They confirm that the guns were purchased legally, though only the handguns were purchased by Farook. The vehicle used was rented through yesterday, and therefore had Utah license plates. Law enforcement will release the names of the victims throughout the day. 9:50 a.m.: NBC News is reporting that the suspects left a remote-controlled bomb on the scene of the holiday party, similar to that used by the Tsarnaev brothers in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing. The aim was to kill police and medical personnel. The devices apparently malfunctioned.

The attackers who killed 14 at a California office party Wednesday left behind a remote-controlled explosive device as they raced away in a black SUV with the bomb controller in their hands, NBC News has learned. Multiple federal and regional sources familiar with the investigation of the attack at San Bernardino’s Inland Regional Center told NBC News that the controller was similar to the model car controller used in the Boston Marathon bombing of 2013. Authorities said the design indicated that the attackers appeared to have calculated that their initial attack would draw a heavy law enforcement and emergency personnel response and left behind a device that would cause still greater casualties. The device did not explode, and investigators do not know if the controller was too far away to trigger the bomb. Forensic investigation of the device has not been completed.

9:45 a.m.: Focus is shifting–slowly–to the victims and their families. The descriptions of the shootings are horrific, with people gunned down and shot while they hid beneath desks at was supposed to have been a festive holiday party. One victim whose name has been released, Denise Peraza, talked to her sister during the attack. She was wounded in the lower back and is recovering at Arrowhead Medical Center. Breitbart News’ National Security editor, Frances Martel has her story, and that of other victims. In addition to the five victims being treated at Arrowhead, five are being treated at Loma Linda University Medical Center, according to the Associated Press. Praise is being heard all around for the responses of area hospitals, as well as for the San Bernardino Police Department, which reportedly arrived on the scene of the shooting a mere four minutes after it began. 9:20 a.m.: It’s terrorism, says CNN."

Look, we all know that climate change is more of a threat than are the Islamic nazis. Warmer temperature makes them more angry.

How in the world is it an act of "defiance" to talk about global climate change, after the ISIS attacks?

Wouldn't an act of "defiance" be having a conference about how the countries ban together and go kill every ISIS SOB on earth?

..or am I just being to logical for the left?

Education is something anyone with should give.

Looking for a payday for that is inexcusable.

In a day and age where Lil Wayne, Kim Kardashian and reality TV mindsets rule...it's because the stupid is ripe with them. Most don't know and will NEVER know unless shown or taught.

Keep holding in all that knowledge big boy. It's only doing you some limited good, because what you've shown here in your short time is just embarrassing.

I'm really glad we have a Central Intelligence Agency too.


All of these shams need to be called out. People responsible need to lose their jobs because they weren't doing them anyways. Legislation to restore personal freedoms need to be enacted.

Those standing in our way need to be removed too.

The status quo isn't working and NOBODY is safe with these politicians and agencies in charge doing what they're doing.

actually, I wasn't looking for new links, just my way of agreeing (ARRRGGGHHH!!!) with you. I was pointing out that we had covered the topic quite a ways back. I credited DMV because he supplied the best links to the historical Nazi/Arab Axis from earlier last century...from among the million choices one would typically choose.

What I don't get, is how muslims have so many people killing them, and how they all like to kill each other, yet they keep multiplying... wtf?

I don't buy that average IQ of a 100 chit, I think that's just a baseline number that sounds official, I think if you took the global average, it would be closer to 80...

I mean, 22% of all people are muslim, and 30 some percent are christians, which tells me over half the worlds population are a bunch of dumb asses (no offense to my cigar smoking god fearing brothers)... and that's not even counting the rest of the dumb asses.

One of my golfing buddies (to quote the late great George Carlin), who happens to be black, told me a while back that he was dating some muslim chick...

I was like, huh?

Why the hell would any single women want to be a fkin muslim, that tells me she didn't even bother reading the book. If she did, she would know that the religion she chooses to believe in considers her to be property and pretty much only a half a human. He was all like, to each is own, I was like "you need to find a new one, because any single woman who chooses to be a muslim is a fkin dumb chit."

Lastly, isis and the rest of the dumb asses in their religion who refuse to speak out about isis are in danger of making themselves go extinct... I mean history shows, once a group starts going batchit crazy, eventually people will start just taking them all out... just saying...

With that, maybe they should all be taken out, sterilized or something... maybe it would bump up the average intelligence of our species a little.

I don't think it will take much, they got Russia bombing their asses now, and Russia just don't give a fk, they're pretty indiscriminate on their targeting...

... and China... I heard they plan on getting in the mix too. China is pissed that they even have muslims in their country at all, if they jump in, chits going to get nasty.

When it's all said and done, probably won't be much left of the middle east left.

Good job isis! You pissed off everyone... your religion will soon be downgraded to a cult at the global level and there will be a lack of sympathy when all muslims whether extremist or "moderate" start getting violently discriminated against across the world.

Or maybe that's all in the plan, who knows...

a facebook friend, who is actually a real life friend as well, posted a long diatribe after the cali shootings about the containment of isis that was lock step with obummber

that was his second response to such a tragedy (first response, of course, was something along the lines of the nra pulling the trigger and not the terrorists or something)

it seemed utterly silly to me but people were crawling all over themselves to hit the like button

They are mass murderers and I don't really care if the terrorism label is there or not. It's just a word like hate in hate crime. It's a crime.

I'm beginning to think these things should be treated like weather. Learn from them, prepare for them, mitigate them the best you can, and recognize some are going to come out of the blue and some will be mitigated better than others. You will never eliminate it completely.

True. Sadly, inhumane behavior is, at the end of the day, "human behavior" we will always need to deal with.
