I am in a lot of ways but i dont always agree with everything from the libertarians i know. Somehow i just cant unconditionally trust the goodwill of the marketplace to protect the public health, safety and welfare. I probably would have been considered a liberal if i lived in 1895. Food and workplace safety, construction standards, wage and hour laws, land use zoning. Problem is the fix is never good enough......some want to always make things better. There is a diminishing return and the cost benefit ratio is always more cost/less benefit and freedoms keep getting whittled away.

Then you need not admit it.

Or you could vote liberal twice. The choice of 2X Conservative vs 2X Liberal depends on those views that alleged libertarians all have that are inconsistent with being an actual libertarian.

My world views are more complex than Conservative or Liberal. I doubt that anyone is 100% conservative &/or liberal on every issue.
I also refuse to be categorized into the simple baskets of Conservative & Liberal.

I think most know that a right handed person some times favors their left. And that no things are black or white, but really shades of gray (yes, I'm sure you can site personal exception on that).

But socially, we all have to admit to being largely on one side of the camp or the other. Unless one is so far above society that one is out of touch. Which would make you conservative.....
