The United States of Libtopia

Fellas, I'm working on a theory and I need some input and assistance with the application for citizenship. I'm calling this new country the United States of Libtopia and the nations capital will be called Obamatroplis (named for its greatest president ever).

I've come up with a long list of streamlined pathways to citizenship which would guarantee immediate and unprejudiced acceptance into this new country and have listed them below. The one caveat is that you must self-identify with one of the folliwing criteria and if you do would be granted immediate citizenship and afforded all the rights, priviledges, and liberities as the governement will ensure. Feel free to add any others that I have inadvertanly ommited.

My question is this. How long do you think a country comprised of these types of citizens would survive? Relying on history to remind us of the nations and empires of the past responsible for their own undoing, how long could a country established today with this type of progressive citizenry possibly withstand their own self inflicted demise?

As I list the pathways I'm in no way saying that those who self identify would be required to join this new country. I'm not saying you aren't welcome to stay in your current country. I'm simply saying that those individuals who think the grass is greener on the other side and would like the opportunity to be part of a new nation could do so if you believe yourself to fit into one the following demographics.

The United States of Libtopia is looking for a few good citizens! If you believe yourself to fit into one of the following categories listed below and believe things would be better without all the hard working, middle class, conservative christians running amuck in your current country then apply now for immediate acceptance into our eternal eutopia.

Guaranteed acceptance if you are:

Politically or socially Liberal
Registered Democrat
Career Politician
Anti-gun/Anti 2nd Amendment
Pro-choice
Anti-Religion specifically Christianity
Pro Government/Big Government
Would rather collect welfare than work for a living
Believe the minimum wage should $15/hr
Want open borders and amnesty for all illegal immigrants
Desire countless Syrian refugees
Hate Conservatives
Hate Anglo-Saxon Americans and believe them all to be "racist"
Believe in "white privilege"
Think that climate change is the greatest global threat
Would prefer freedom from religion (except Islam)
Don't mind Sharia Law
A Muslim
Identify as a "blank-American" rather than just an "American"
Prefer Socialism, Communism, Marxism over freedom
Like to use the race card even when you don't know what it means or when it applies
Hate Christians
Hate Jews
Hate everybody who isn't exactly like you or won't openly condone your public behavior
Hates Texans
Hates the South
Hates Oklahomans
Loves Chicago, Detroit, NYC and all of California
Consider yourself Politically Correct
Progressive
An Atheist
Believe inmates should be treated better than the military and it's veterans
Don't want to work, ever
Voted for Bill Clinton
Thought Bill Clinton was a good president
Voted for Barack Obama
Thought Barack Obama was a good president
Would vote for either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders
Hate Donald Trump
Don't celebrate Christmas
Hate baseball, jazz and/or BBQ
Support gay marriage
Gay, Lesbian, Trans, or Bi
Believes more government is the solution to all your problems

I may have left a few out but I believe this would allow just about everyone who hates what America really is (or once was) to start anew with a country of their very own. Free from those damned conservative christians and all their guns.

Who wants to be a Liptopian?

Have fun fellas!!!

It appears that the red states, particularly in the south, are where most of the welfare dollars are going.

That country would be much like Caligula's Rome and would meet the same fate in short order. My opinion..... fry me if you must.

Can you imagine how quickly the working class schmuck will want them to apply for citizenship?! Shame on them!

I scanned the list and it seems obvious that most everyone meets at least one of the criteria.

Maybe Breakout should just move to Conservatoria...

It's not mandatory to go. Totally optional.

The US seems to be split down the middle for the most part and I believe that the list above sums up one of the halves. If the other half is to be called Conservatoria I would gladly become a citizen and I would wager every penny I will ever earn that it is a stronger country and would prosper long after Libtopia succumb to its delusions of grandeur.

At least answer the question first. If it were real money I certainly wouldn't invest it in their economy!

About 240 years so far. Almost every American meets at least one of your criteria!
Except maybe you and TBG….

Are you guys related?

I pizzed myself laughing. You keep making my point. Look, just because everyone you directly associate with seems to align with your POV doesn't mean in reality that "almost" is anywhere near an accurate depiction of the true number of Americans who would truly love to have all the sorts mentioned above put their money where their mouth is and go create this utopia they believe is possible.

Great... You want all the atheists to leave America.

Sounds like you want your own little theocracy.

Haha! Read it again Victor. It's optional. You don't have to leave. It's a hypothetical opportunity to live Christian free if they so choose.

Not sure what perspective has to do with it. How do you become Christian without surrendering a great measure of personal freedom?

I'm pretty damn conservative (newsflash, eh?), but I am socially liberal, pro-choice (although I am against abortion, I don't feel it is in our best interest to outlaw it), I don't want to work, ever... but I do because I'm saving toward that end game, and while I don't believe Clinton was a "good" president... he was great compared to the 'tard that's in there now.

All depends on which laws you choose to follow, God's or man's...We are given free will. If you choose to practice your faith in Christianity then your not giving up anything other than your own selfish desires. However, your also free not too. Unlike another religion I can think of....

How many times have you been shot at because you're pretty good at dodging bullets? Why won't you answer the questions?

Would you live there? How long do you think a country comprised of just the list of people above would sustain?

I don't hate anyone, I just disapprove or dislike many of the choices they make and would like to give them the opportunity to lay in the bed they make. I'm willing to lay in mine.

Your argument is that a purely atheist country would have a lower chance of survival than a purely christian country? Is that the point you're trying to make? Or a country comprised solely of people who are fine with gay marriage has some lower chance of success than a country with only people who oppose gay marriage?

What kind of stupid generalities do you have in your head?

No, that's not my argument. In Libtopia the religion of Islam would be present (atheist don't seem to have an issue with them). Yes, I do not believe a purely atheist country would have a long history or much prosperity. I'm modern time the only country I could find that has a majority population of citizens who identify as agnostic or atheist is Sweden (85%). The odds are in favor of countries with some form of an organized religion(s), since you asked.

As for the rest of your comment I made no such claim. The basis for my entire thought provoking experiment was to give anyone and everyone who has an issue with hard working, tax paying, gun loving, conservative, religious, traditional family oriented, pro-life, smaller government supporting, the opportunity to have it their way and be free from all the burdensome people who keep preventing them from living in their liberal utopia.

Whyou are you so afraid to answer the question?

Seriously? You consider your post to be a "thought experiment"???? You don't think much do you....

To answer your question, no, unlike you I don't have some desire to have everyone who thinks differently than me to move somewhere else. I have no desire to move to a country with only atheists... We need Christians to dig ditches and do other stuff that doesn't need a science education...

You however, in your " thought experiment " (that gets me every time) have basically said "anyone who doesn't agree with exactly the stuff I agree with should go start another country somewhere".... Does the stupidity of this concept even begin to penetrate??? This delicious irony is that you had the complete lack of self awareness to add "hate everybody who isn't exactly like you" to the list of everyone you want to leave....

Holy crap you're a self absorbed, all knowing, delusionally euphoric, piece of work there Victor. I only wish you could run for president and put us all on the track to never-ending happiness and eternal bliss.

You are quite possibly the most enlightened person to ever be gifted to the race of men. Do you actually believe the crap you spew or is it simply that your embarrassed by what you really think so deflection and diversion are all you can resort to when it's time to let the rubber hit the road?

Why don't you lean forward, put your hands on your knees, push down real hard, wait for the loud popping sound, and then breath deeply. It will most likely be the first time you've have had a breath of fresh air since your head found its way up your @$$!

You are exactly what's wrong with this country. Wake up!! Listen, I would rather I didn't have to suffer along with you if you like the direction this country is headed. I suppose that's part of the sickness that is the liberal epidemic.

So because I pointed out that your little favorite copy and paste you pulled from Facebook or email is hypocritical BS, I'm what's wrong with this country?

You realize how deeply stupid this is, right? I mean, you post some long winded post about how you want all sorts of people (including atheists) to go away and include in that list "people who don't agree with the stuff I agree with"... That's about as hypocritical you can get...

Not only that, it's ridiculous mindsets like this which are exactly what will cause the Republican party to fail again. I tell you I'm atheist and you tell me to get out or suck up a christian government whether I like it or not... Yeah, piss off and enjoy having your candidate lose. You are what is wrong with this country. You and other mindless idiots who copy and paste BS like this without ever even stopping to think about it and leave people like me the option of voting Democrat or choosing a religious nutbag (hint, someone who wants to rule the country as a theocracy scares me way more than someone who just wants to take more money)...

So congratulations, if Hillary wins it's because of idiots posting crap like this and thinking its just the best "thought experiment" (god thats still hilarious) ever

I’m not sure juvenile is as accurate an assessment as it could be. It is patently self-righteous, openly offensive and smug.

But – if you read most of his posting with the voice of Foghorn Leghorn in mind, they can be entertaining…
