Could get interesting... and I gotta wonder if he was just drunk and being an **** or if the PTSD is real... If they used it as an excuse it could really backfire on them.... I should prolly research a little bit but my brain was wandering and I thought I'd throw the question out there... Mellow

Here we go...

Sarah Palin is taking heat from veterans for seeming to point the finger at President Obama over mental issues her son may be dealing with following his Iraq war service.

Her son Track was arrested earlier this week on domestic violence charges, and Palin publicly addressed the case Wednesday during a post-endorsement appearance on the campaign trail for Donald Trump. She appeared to link his alleged behavior to post-traumatic stress disorder – and used it to criticize Obama’s veteran policies.

But Paul Rieckhoff, the head of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), criticized the former Alaska governor’s comments Wednesday night.

He tweeted: “We need more programs and less politics to battle PTSD.”

Speaking with NBC News, he also said, “"It's not President Obama's fault that Sarah Palin's son has PTSD.”

He called PTSD a “very serious problem” and reportedly urged Palin not to “politicize” it.

"I hope this doesn't become a portable chew toy in a political campaign," he said, according to NBC News.

The comments touched off a Twitter exchange with other military servicemembers concerned about Palin’s remarks. One, who identified as a retired Army veteran, said her comments could cause “perceptual problems & future treatment issues” for those diagnosed with PTSD.

The brawl last year was a fun event too.

The funny part is resources are not an issue for this family. If it is truly PTSD it should be being treated regardless and perhaps a little personal responsibility is in order rather than relying on and blaming the government. Don't get me wrong, the vets need to have better care taken of them, but this is not the best case study supporting that. It is blame and not wanting to take personal responsibility.

Sarah is coocoo for cocopuffs. This may just be genetics and environment.

How many reporters ever moved next door to a Democrat to dig through their trash cans, take photos and try to dig up dirt to report on?

I think any mother who's son was injured in the military would want our government to do more to help. Instead of this being a political perhaps it is simply a concerned frustrated parent speaking what they think.

Remove the subject of your sentences and someone might thing you're talking about a Democrat.....maybe the affliction you describe (not the PTSD) is becoming acceptable all across the political spectrum....we're all f'd

Yea I'm sure making the comments at a trump rally is not political at all. His "PTSD" is not out of control because of a lack of resources available to him governmental or private. I support more resources being available to our vets. I do not think this is the right case to illustrate that.

after 59 years on the planet....

I have figured this out....

Pretty much ....if you say anything...
somebodies not going to like it...

i.e. Palin just does it on national news and gets called on it all the time...

Comparing time zones she likely just had found out about truck or whatever his name is. Whether what is being said about him is true or not (I'll reserve judgement) it has to be pretty unnerving for her and I''m willing to give her a break here (other than the blaming obama for he sons actions part)
