This is about the first time I actually agree with him. Moderators should be neutral and we all know they are not always so. Kelly and Fox have shown they will not be. Eff 'em

saw that on fox this morning.......however, let's look at Kelly. she seemed cordial with the Don and it seemed like they were playing nice. What would drive Megan Kelly to stack the deck against Trump during the debate? Even the questions for the other candidates mostly took issue with trump and prompted them to go on the attack. Fair? I don't know. For me, I would have liked to see him show up and only respond to the other monitors.

This is my two cents only......

The ultra conservative, ivory tower, old guard republican core may have approached fox news to run the debate in a way that would bring the demise of the Don as a viable candidate. Megan kelly, being the "company man" that she is, took up the battle cry and this is the result. I just feel that even though Trump inserts foot in mouth every other day, he deserves the right to run a campaign that is not sabotaged by the same party he is running with.

Again, just my two cents.fog

ps....Megan Kelly's new haircut is very, very, hot. Especially with that black, part leather skirt she had on today.

As many of our viewers know, FOX News is hosting a sanctioned debate in Des Moines, Iowa on Thursday night, three days before the first votes of the 2016 election are cast in the Iowa Caucus. Donald Trump is refusing to debate seven of his fellow presidential candidates on stage that night, which is near unprecedented.

We’re not sure how Iowans are going to feel about him walking away from them at the last minute, but it should be clear to the American public by now that this is rooted in one thing – Megyn Kelly, whom he has viciously attacked since August and has now spent four days demanding be removed from the debate stage. Capitulating to politicians’ ultimatums about a debate moderator violates all journalistic standards, as do threats, including the one leveled by Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski toward Megyn Kelly.

In a call on Saturday with a FOX News executive, Lewandowski stated that Megyn had a ‘rough couple of days after that last debate’ and he ‘would hate to have her go through that again.’ Lewandowski was warned not to level any more threats, but he continued to do so. We can’t give in to terrorizations toward any of our employees.

Trump is still welcome at Thursday night’s debate and will be treated fairly, just as he has been during his 132 appearances on FOX News & FOX Business, but he can’t dictate the moderators or the questions.

Of course some would say this all part of his plan to get more headlines and stuff... Mellow

... seriously?

What do you think the thread headlines would be on this forum if Clinton pulled something like tthis?
It would be nonstop carping on her being too weak to take on a challenging debate... it would be constant speculation that she would be unable to handle a challenging meeting with foreign dignitaries. I'm sure there would be at least 1 reference to benghazi.

This is his prerogative... I wasn't going to vote for him before, this action changes nothing for me... but to try to phrase this as an indication of presidential material?.... psh...

I caught part of Donald's press conference live on CNN. Flipped immediately to FOX who were not covering it. Continued to watch FOX not cover it for a couple hours until they could have Kelly cover it.

I think Trump is a joke but Fox's coverage of him doesn't even try to conceal their bias and contempt. Kelly in particular has been biased in her coverage of him. There are several compilations of her coverage that are pretty damning.

I'm sort of glad he's saying eff you to fox. He's participated in all of the other debates and they were not scripted. Fox does not have the ability to be fair or balanced that is why they have to keep trying to tell us they are. Who are they trying to convince?

I can't vote for trump, Cruz, Hillary or Satan. But I actually agree with trump on this one.

Anderson Cooper has done the best moderator job so far.

The press makes it about the press, the public has a lower opinion of the press than the government.

Trump is in first, he's done this to show control. Good, bad indifferent it is just that. We'll see if it was a good move or not later.

Dude.
If a so-called moderator attacked the hill-dog in an earlier debate, the media would be all over that reporter like stink at an occupy event.

I like Meagan Kelly. But she stepped WAY over the line last time.
The debate is about the candidates. Not the moderators. She got too emotional and it affected her then and ever since.

What does that have to do with anything? The "media" as you put it isn't praising this action by trump as some sort of presidential attribute.

I agree with you that the debate is not supposed to be about the moderators... and they've been obviously doing a very poor and biased job (fox news as least).

I'm no fan of Trump, and I'm no fan of Fox, but the man has been playing the media like a fine-tuned instrument, and Fox is still falling for it. Few candidates have spent so little on advertising and gotten so much of it free.

I'm still puzzled, but grudgingly more accepting that Trump has the level of support that he does (mostly Chevy drivers, I hear), but I'm absolutely floored that he's pulling the majority of evangelical support......over Cruz, Santorum and Huckabee??

This is hilarious. I haven't made up my mind who I'd vote for President. Never gave Trump a second look until the establishment came out after him. Now, I'm beginning to hope he wins.

Please someone explain to me why he would be worse than the joke we have now. I've heard people talk about qualifications. What qualifications does a community organizer turned 1 time senator and elected based soley on hope and race is more qualified than Trump, Hilliary, Bernie or some spotted owl Bruce Babbitt saved in the 80's.

Do we want more of the same old status quo we have now?

Do we really want a President with some balls or do we want one who is gonna keep playing the same old blame game that has divided this country?

Still not sure who I'll vote for. But, it'll be a cold day in hell before I vote for more of the same.

The two party system is like a ball and chain on our country. To get elected one must pander to those who control the nominating process. For a Dem they have to run as far to the left as possible. For a Repub as far right as possible.

As a result we govern by scotched earth when what we really need is consensus.

I watched some old 1980's & 90''s video interviews on Access Hollywood ?? I think? the other night...
specifically about all his wives....
The first wife IVANA only got $22 million in the divorce.
The second wife Marla Maples only got $2 measily
million....
"prolly cuz of a pre-nup and stuff"???
but he/ trump was on film talking about how HOT THE SEX W/ MARLA WAS...take one look at her then and even today ....and that sounds like an huge understatement....
Now his new wife has that whole super model alloof
face thing going on...she reminds me of Marie Antoinette(spl?)"let them eat cake" and could care less about ANYBODY including the Donald....
I dont forsee her as a caring First Lady at all.
Someone at FOX should do some digging w/
IVANA and all her stored information...$22 million was not enough for that snubbed "ZAA ZAA GABOR CLONE" and I bet she's got all the real dirt....
FOX NEWS IS DUMB and the DONALD needs to write a few "STFU CHECKS" to wifey #1 & #2 before
FOX smartins' up....
