I think it should be Rand Paul, but realistically he does not have a chance.

AGREED! If things work out like they should (soon) she'll be more worried about indictments than elections.

True, I'm not thrilled with any of them. I have to say I admire Ted Cruz for calling Bravo Sierra on ethanol subsidies.

Due to The Constitution, none of them are going to be able to implement all the things they advocate, despite the use of Presidential orders and action or inaction of parliament of whores, congress.

Nobody has said more that I agree with or proposed more policies that are rooted in reality, or appealed to most of my views...than Rand Paul.

HOWEVER....nobody on any of the debate stages has looked less presidential to me than Senator Paul. Made me quite sad every time he started whining.

He IS NOT his daddy.

I supported RON Paul...Rand...f him...he's a wishy washy back room dealer bottom card shuffler that just shames the Paul name. His dad stands for something...Rand, just flaps in the wind and lets it dictate where he's gonna go.

DMV I disagree, I think Paul has acted different then his father mostly because he saw how the establishment treated his father. I think he's certainly NOT as pure liberty orientated as his father, but I think he's calculated a Trojan horse route to the white house.

I do agree with dstieger. He's been awful at times in the debates, but had some shining moments.

Paul's words, when he was challenging the other Repubs on how they'd finance they're defense plans, were priceless:

"How is it conservative to add a trillion-dollar expenditure for the federal government that you're not paying for? How is it conservative to add a trillion dollars in military expenditures? You cannot be a conservative if you're going to keep promoting new programs that you're not going to pay for."

But the delivery was sucky. Unfortunately, his message falls on deaf ears.

He's NEVER going to get closer than he his now running a campaign as shoddy as his. No message...no background to run on...just his daddy's last name.

Sorry, if you want I can list examples of how he's caved in and totally given up his positions. He's just not his dad.

Well, he apparently didn't mean Sanders. Funny, though, I believe yesterday was only the very first time that I heard a newsperson refer to Sanders Jewish-ness. Not that he's been hiding it or anything...I just think its sorta cool that it hasn't been bandied about as an issue for voters

You don't want O'Malley as President. He damn near taxed Maryland into oblivion. He was so bad that Maryland voters ( a very, very largely Democratic voting block) voted a Republican in as O'Malley's successor.

Stories of some of O'Malley's exploits over the years could even rival those of former President Clinton.

AND..... some thought he even had a God complex once he decided to tax rain. Yes rain. Read about it here:

That and low taxes. ;)

No candidate is 100% on target with what I would like to see.

However, if I was to throw a vote today it would be for Christie.

Jesus H Christ... that tool is the worst choice possible. I'd almost rather Bernie than that fat dickwad.

Trump is unelectable. He says what a lot of folks want to hear, but he has no experience or political skill.

If he had half a chance of actually doing what he says... winner. He doesn't. Cruz is a pube pawn. Rubio is the best option of what the conservative party has on their tray... as a Christian white boy. If Trump looks like he might pull it off... I ain't ruling it out.

NO Hillary. NO Bernie.

I agree. I remember being so happy when Rand was elected to the Senate. But he sucks. His views and rhetoric change depending on the type of audience he is speaking to. If he's speaking to a younger, more libertarian audience, his rhetoric is very libertarian. If he's speaking to a religious crowd, his rhetoric is very religious. Ron is a religious man, but he never wanted to legislate his beliefs. Ron is Ron, no matter who he is speaking to and even if it means getting booed (remember the 2012 primary debates?). Rand's "Life Begins at Conception Act" is unrealistic and would alienate a HUGE chunk of voters, making it pretty much impossible for him to get elected even if he did get the nomination.

I foresee myself voting Libertarian again, depending on who they nominate. If it's Gary Johnson again, hell yeah. If it's another Bob Barr type, I will write in someone. Probably Ron Jeremy.

Rand down...

He suspended his Presidential campaign.

His dad wouldn't have quit and taken his balls home so soon.

So Gabby Gifford and her husband Mark Kelly endorse Clinton.

Wasn't Mark Kelly just in space and spending time at the International Space Station?

Bernie Sanders on the independent ticket.

He splits the Dem vote and the GOP waltzes in for the next 8 years.
