If in Washington D.C., check out TG's at 1118 9th st NW near the Convention Center.

Back in the day when I was in D.C. regularly, I would always hit Ozio's cigar bar/lounge. but recently they have been changing from a old time dark quiet cigar & martini bar to a trendy young professional bar that has one area where you can smoke. Also cigar selection has gone down and prices way up.

Found TG's on yelp. Interestingly, if you search "cigar bar" in D.C. on google, it doesn't show up, but if you just search "cigar" it does. It was just around the corner from my hotel at the Eldon Luxury Suites (great hotel bargain btw).

Not a big place but very very friendly. Good beer and whiskey selection at reasonable (for D.C. especially) prices. Pretty good selection of sticks, but they don't mind at all if you bring in your own. No cutting fee. I had a few blendlabs with me and everybody interested in them. They refilled my torch lighter no charge.

Had a nice long conversation with several knowledgeable cigar types, including one guy that has been to the same cigar bars I have been at in San Fran, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale and Vegas. He had heard about the CI superstore and after I showed him my photos he is planning to go this summer.

Was there the first night of the NFL draft and a lot of very passionate football fans there. Had great discussions/arguments about the players and team needs and fantasy football.

I was sitting at the bar right next to the one humi wall. Although I didn't buy any cigars there, I got a big thumbs up from the guy working the counter (who was super-busy with other customers) as I helped out several walk-ins that were just standing there looking perplexed. Steered one guy to some La Gloria's when he said he wanted to try something stronger than what he usually had been smoking but didn't want anything harsh. And then I directed some suits. that were looking for "something special" for themselves and their cigar-smoking boss who was meeting them there for a drink. to the Padron 1964 and 1926s. Needless to say, the proprietor really appreciated that sale. Later that evening, the suits came over and thanked me on their way out. The boss loved the Padrons they had gotten. Said they were perfect.

Nice job & thanks for the info.
Can't ever go wrong with the Padron 64 & 26's.
