Hey all old and new. I have not been around much in many years. I pop in every now and then. Lots of new faces and a bunch of old ugly ones. Not much has changed.
First of all this is an update and a request for some items you may not want any more. Not a sympathy thread,so please no prayers sent or gosh I am so sorry bull****. I just need a little help and maybe would like to reach out to some cigars folks with the same sort of circumstances.
About 10 weeks ago I went in for routine blood work that I had not done in about 4 years.A week later my Dr. calls and says I need to see a hematologist (blood guy) NOW,not Tuesday but TODAY. Yikes. So I get a few referrals and call some folks to get some opinions.Got some names and Googled some numbers, well holy crap blodd Drs all work in cancer centers here. Oh ####! Yea I did not know,WTF? A week later I was diagnosed with AML a nasty rare little disease that normally affects peeps with the average age of about 67! I am 51! Google it,it you want. I won't bore you with details.
So 2 days later I am in the nasty a## ######## hospital with NO immune system. White counts off the freaking charts. Spent 30 freaking days and got even sicker in that hell hole. 7 days of chemo for 24 hours a day. A blood transfusion and 3 different infections caused by my environment

So far med bills are about $260,000 and I did just get approved for medicaid. I was very surprised that this went through. But still I am financially ruined and it will probably be 9-10 months before I can work again. Hard telling what medicrap will cover and Osama doesn't care. My angel wife is working 2 jobs! So is my daughter and we are faced with some tough decisions.
Last week they told us I am in remission! Yea? No luke in my bone marrow that they can see. Just have to do 12 more rounds of chemo. Doesn't sound like remission to me but it is standard protocol with AML. They say I should be fine and its not terminal and I am not going to be a jar of ashes anytime soon. Although I trust these freakin Dr.s about as far as I can kick them. 3 have already lied. No 4 I like so far,but he has led me on just yesterday.
So I am looking for decent stuff that you good folks that has some value to trade for some smokes. Obviously I am not smoking now and may never again and I need to procure some $$$$ for monthly expenses for who knows how long. I have tons of smokes, all at least 4-5 years old,what ya got for ole Roxxy to trade???
I do not want to sell any cigars Just trades. Look for you f###s I will be hanging around again..
