Hello!
Any good tips on removing a very tight, difficult band without damaging the wrapper? I know, I know... Smoke it!
Thanks Brick wall

Actually that's the best-as the cigar heats up, the glue loosens and the band should either slide off or be able to be peeled off

The bands are there to protect your hands.

I wear white Gucci smoking gloves and don't want my gloves to be marred by tobacco some third world peasant rolled. Only poor people smoke past the band, I rarely smoke past the half way mark.

Aren't you supposed to cut right below the band? I thought that's why they were on the cigar, to show you where to cut to maximize the draw and enjoyment of the cigar.

That's funny! Some bands are 2" up. That's a big cut off length.

many will loosen up a bit as they dry out. might find waiting on them a while improves the cigar...or not.

If you have a zxr 1200, what year is it and how do you like it? Does it corner well?

I agree. Speed and lean angle is a very bike specific and subjective topic. Would be cool to be on a test track and have many riders try the same bike and get their opinions with a good cigar after!

Soak the cigar in luke warm water for 5 minutes.
Then the band glue unsticks.

Unlike chix, who tend to loosen up more if you get them drunk.

If the bands where made from hemp there would be no need to remove them. Think LGC tried something similar a few years ago with a laser-cut leaf for a band.
