He's absolutely bonkers or genius....or both. He always finds words that incite and antagonize; but always with room to walk them back. If nothing else, he's the perfect master of keeping himself the lead story of every news cycle.

I kind of wonder if a "wack job" actually did take a shot, would we blame Trump, the use of a gun, or accept the fact the guy was a wack job in the first place?

Do a Google of "Clarence Brandenburg" to see why this will most likely not result in any charges against Trump. fog

Let's not forget about this back in 08' when Hillary called for Obama's assassination... Mellow

“My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don’t understand it.”

The statement invoking Kennedy’s assassination touched a nerve when it was picked up by the New York Post and then blared across the Drudge Report, understood to invoke the spectre of another potential assassination in this campaign. Considering that fears for the safety of Barack Obama have been circulating among black supporters for some time, and that threats have reportedly been received, the statement was widely held to have been a reference to him, conscious or unconscious on Clinton’s part.

Personally.....I'd easily accept that he was a whack job beforehand.....but then again it depends what kind of spin the media uses....after all, SO IS SHE.

In my mind it's all very simple.....She should not even be allowed to run for this office let alone mayor of Sh*tville

Evita Clintax understands your problems, and feels your pains.
She will fix them by taking more of your $ away from you, and buying votes to get herself re-elected. There now, do u feel all better?

Drafter what Clinton said was wrong as well but is not a free pass for Trump. Then there is the aftermath and what each of them did following. At least we can count on no apology, no remorse and a rinse and repeat moment soon.

The Scarborough piece in the Post today is interesting. At what point is I hate Hillary not enough to justify supporting this POS?

Trump's pattern is as follows: Outrage, headlines and then denial. Repeat. Not a bad plan but also not likely to win him the election. IMO fog

I hear ya teedubya, it's like Trump copying what Billy Clinton said about the boarder.......man that was then this is now. Make excuses now then tell people to forget history, and induce incrementally. Rinse and repeat, and denounce anything not status quo.

I don't think that he knew that his speech could be misconstrued as trying to insight violence. Which is almost as bad as actually trying to insight violence. He has been a very loose cannon this whole election. Not who we need in the Whitehouse. IMO

I guess I don't use something someone said that I disagree with to justify what someone is saying now and I disagree with. It's not a that was then this is now scenario. I wish I could keep a database of everything someone else did or said wrong and use it as justification for me to do the same. it just doesn't work that way.

to some this is all a game and no matter what your team does it's ok because you must win because the other team is so bad. The if you don't vote for trump its a vote for hillary folks are a good example of that. Frankly I could argue if you voted for trump in the primaries it was a vote for hillary.

Vote for someone you agree with for the most part not to win the backgammon game. And quit defending or justifying the indefensible.

As for the status quo I'd very much like to see change all the way around, but change for the sake of change is worthless and maybe detrimental. The change should be purposeful and positive not random and destructive.

I think all the Trump supporters should apologize to all the Clinton backers for how they perceived the Trump comment.

"I'm sorry you interpreted Trump's words that way".

Now get your binky and go to bed. It's past your collective bed times.
