Herfing Herfing CIGARS GALORE! CIGAR TOOLS ANN BOURBON BBQ AND WORCESTERSHIRE, DD COFFEE CARD AND AN INSPIRING BOOK AND TRULY INCREDIBLE CARDS!! MY WIFE PICKED THE PACKAGE UP AND IT WEIGHED SO MUCH SHE SAID "ALL RIGHT WHAT CRAP DID YOU BUY NOW ?"!.. I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR WHAT THIS WAS AND THAT WAS YOU SHOWING THAT WE ARE ALL CARING FOR EACH OTHER AND THAT THIS IS THE GREATEST GROUP OF PEOPLE EVER ASSEMBLED ANYWHERE AND ANYTIME..

AS MANY OF YOU KNOW I HAVE A L S AND AM NOW CRIPPLED. MY LIFE IS SCARY AND HARD AND I MISS BEING ABLE TO WALK EASILY WITHOUT AIDS AND I MISS BEING ABLE TO WRITE AND WORK. BUT THIS IS GODS PLAN FOR ME. I AM SELLING MY HOUSE AND MOVING DOWN THE ROAD TO A SENIOR LIVING CENTER BECAUSE IT WILL BE EASIER AND SAFER . BUT WHEN I AM ON HERE JOKING AROUND WITH MY LONG TIME FRIENDS I STILL FEEL LIKE THE PERSON I ALWAYS HAVE BEEN. I THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP. AND BY THE WAY THAT HAT YOU SENT ME IS THE COOLEST EVER!!

Never had the pleasure of interfacing with Jack.
Know that he is highly regarded here, and so consider myself poorer for it.
But I have unexpectedly met plenty of damn good people here.
And it has always been my intention to connect with more.
But I now spend 98.2% of my time focused on building a dream.

I plan to get back to connecting with people here in the not too distant future.
On occasional weekends, I jump in just to have some fun.
I teased Corey a bit last week, and he took it all wrong.
I consider him a damn good brother, and I look forward to herfing with him in the future.
And he is certainly not the only one.

I loved the insanity of this place when I first joined up.
And while it seems that it has died down somewhat, I know the spirit is still here.
And who knows. With some luck, I might even reconnect with my estranged Papa…

Death comes for us all.

I remember when Jack shared that he was dying. He was having a hard time trying to find something to smile about. I told him the photos he posted where he was on vacation with his family that he shared here always made me smile.
