I would agree. That was my last one and I found it by accident in the rear of the closet. It probably had three years of rest on it. I have not seen it for sale in this part of the world in a couple of years,

8100 30 Pabst blue ribbon
8112 12 pack Big wave golden ale from Kona brewing co Hawaii
8118 6 pack harp lager
8124 sol Mexican beer. 6 pack
8130 mickeys malts
8136 peroni Italian

Of everything lately the peroni is pretty well my favorite. Reminds me slightly of like a grolsch.

The big wave reminded me of a land shark. In my opinion the land shark is the better blend but I’m not too into fruity tasting beers

Harp wasn’t really in my wheelhouse

Sol isn’t as good as did Equis or even corona

Mickeys was a fun change of pace. Came in the barrel bottles. Not a run of the mill sh it beer. Pretty good

8138 coors original in the big aluminum bottle. I like Pabst better

And a Miller lite in the same bottle.

8150 12 natural lite….. I hate those but they were free in a cooler w ice so yeah I’ll always accept. I know I’ve drank more of those than 12 but I’m just catching up.

Hold on wait a minute. I’m doing fridge inventory and I’ve forgot a couple.
8152 2 Calvert brewing Australian Pilsner. I dig it
8155 national bohemian. Got 3 left. (Natty boh) It’s respectable regular Ol beer out of Baltimore. It’s sorta a local hype round these parts.

8185 wasn’t gonna admit it but I drank 30 Milwaukees best. Bought them when the whole bud light tranny fluid thing went down.

That’s getting pretty close to updated.

Out of all those mentioned. The peroni is my favorite. I’m not super into craft but the Australian mentioned hit my mark. Pabst has been a favorite of mine for years. Just regular Ol beer

8198 - Alchemist Focal Banger IPA

Yep, Kipp strikes again. My first opportunity to try an Alchemist offering and I was not disappointed. It may take a while but there will be retribution. Kipp, many thanks for your generosity.

We were in Boulder CO for my niece’s wedding. Of course I hit a few local liquor stores. Not an IPA fan but know some people that are. I can look again on the way home to Texas in September for ya Frank…

let me know before you bother...just stunned that The Alchemist sent product that far. The most I've seen at a retailer anywhere in New England was two cases each of Heady Topper and Focal Banger...and the owner didn't even know they were coming!

It was like a restaurant pop-up happening out of the blue.

I got a four pack cuz that was the limit per person! I might enjoy the idea of them creating this mystique of unavailability as much as the brews themselves. It's like a challenge.

at this point in my big fat belly journey I try to gift more beer than I drink.

I like lagers and ales so I’ll drink either one and like Big Wave and Longboard equally.
