An improved version of the original IMO You?

IIRC this is slightly higher ABV and lower IBU

And a good price for a BA beer.

Really like the selections in the Sam Adams winter collection. Alas, the only 2 grocery stores in town are now out.

1373 -2015 Bourbon County Stout 14.3%

1374 -2017 Bourbon County Stout 14.1%

A little taste comparison. I should add 2014 and 2016 but both are limited in my stash and I'm slightly buzzed already.

Not bad but not great, a little boozey on the front end. Have a couple of other bottles and will push them to the back of the self and try in 12 months or so.

Yep, I thought the 2015 was better but the 2017 may age just as well.

Any thoughts on the difference between the original and the EvilTwin collaboration? I have both and may do a side by side soon.

I have not tried the original. Only one local carries Evil Twin and I just recently discovered it's existence.
