My wife doesn't know or care anything about cigars, so I'm just making her a list of possible candidates. So far, it's either a box of HdM Seleccion Royale Senadors or La Perla Habana Black Pearl Grand Robustos.

Now I need to order some perfume from this list she gave me.

I don't have cigars on my wish list. I know I'm not going to get them.

On a side note - regarding an unrelated yet similar bulletin board, I think you should still do trading there. Don't let one bad apple spoil your whole pie.

Well, I know my wif won't buy the higher end cigars for me (she doesn't believe cigars should cost that much), so I told her a box of El Rico Habano: Habano Clubs or a box of Bucanero's Full Sail's. More than likely, she'll buy neither, and I'll probably end up with a sweater or something since she doesn't like tobacco shops either.

Hope you would share your mishap at the trade board...some of us may want to know to avoid the same fate. I've traded before and everytning went well. Email me.( [email protected] )

It wasn't really bad. the other party procrastinated and I couldn't reach them. I finally got pissed and posted about it and of course, his half arrived the next day. I felt obligated to post that fact and apologize. I was promptly crucified and have been eating crow ever since.

Just another one of the Cluster f***s I get myself into.

The funny thing about it was that 95% of the posters refused to see that I had any kind of a point and said they'd never trade with me. As far as I know, everyone who's ever traded with me has been happy, so I guess it's their loss. One sure has to develop a thick skin to be a regular poster on a cigar board. I wonder if I'll ever be 25% as tough as e-chick.

The day my girlfriend buys me cigars will probably be the same day she breaks up with me.

I am buying her father some choice smokes however.

Again I'm sorry. I shouldn't have brought it up here. I've traded with you and didn't have any problems. From what I read the other guy really didn't have any good excuses. If I had been in you shoes I would have done the samething.
