Verlander is over-due for an azz whupping...........Go Dodgers!!!!

I hate Altuve and pineapple-head-girlie man...

Anybody remember the Toy Cannon, Jimmy Wynn? Altuve is Toy Cannon II, a little better than the original...

There's no comparison between Wynn and Altuve, first off, Wynn was an outfielder and never had a batting average above 300; Tuve is a second baseman hitting at 346 this season with a lifetime average of 316. Wynn's best batting average would still be Tuve's worst. No comparison.

You're right JJ...my memory was never sharp to begin with...

I really meant Joe Morgan, the little second baseman who, like Wynn, played for the 'stros, although lil Joe's best years were with the Big Red Machine.

He was 2x NL MVP, a phenomenal fielder, and had some great years at bat...still, Altuve is a superior batsman.

Congrats Delta, that IS awesome!
Try to wear something memorable, in case you get your picture taken and on TV. That top hat would work. Ha!

I'm ashamed to admit it, but it's prolly been a quarter century since I've been to a ballpark...

..do they allow smoking???
If not, how do you watch a game, especially Game 7 of the World Series(!) without smoking a great cigar?
Perish the thought...

Was hoping it would go the Dodgers way but those Astros are a darn good team. Too bad somebody had to lose. Gonz

Tremendous experience. Wearing a Koufax jersey, I spent most of the four hour game on my feet like the rest of the crowd, screaming for a comeback. The way the Astros jumped on Darvish out of the gate took a lot of energy out of the stadium, but many of us were yelling for a rally that never materialized despite multiple chances...just couldn't muster that key clutch hit to score some runs.

Hats off to the Houston Astros, even the Gurlie one. They were better and deserving champs of baseball.
