So... I'm a "meh". The theme appears to be (ike buckwheat says) "the DNC financed the dossier!!!" and "Steele didn't like Trump!"

Well... it leaves out that the RNC started the dossier...

and if only people who like trump or are ambivalent about the orange f%%ktard can investigate him, then they may as well stop what they're doing now. I don't recall any of the republicans worried about whether people citing rumors about clinton liked her or not...

It is a detailed list of alleged FBI wrong-doing that has been slowly and rhythmically percolating on Trump TV for the past couple of months. It is a familiar source of arousal for the cons, in four pulsating pages.. the steady build-up to the ultimate release ... euphorically explosive release for the cons ...

Tail alluded to this campaign in his thread proclaiming that "Obama wire-tapped Trump."



The cons delayed, and may not allow, a Dem response, so they could bask in the glow ... not wanting a cold-shower in their moment of ecstasy...

Surprised at the responses here. An unsupported document was used to obtain a FISA warrant so they could spy on a private citizen here in the US. Whom just happened to be running for President! With a "dossier" chock full of salacious lies and innuendos paid for by the opposing political party that just happened to be co-opted by the carpetbagger herself!

How would we ever know if this was done to anyone else before? This spying on citizens has to stop. End the Patriot Act now. Tear that bitch apart. Now we can see it was put there just for this and nothing else.

ummmm....nope...the memo doesn't list ALL the probable cause statements on the affadavit to secure the warrant...and that was AFTER Page was gone from the Trump campaign...

Trump and his team has consistently said that Page was not a part of his campaign,...consistently...now they say he is...because it fits this narrative?

So fake news can become factual news, and then maybe later...when it doesn't serve Trump's purposes, fake again...just because Trump says it is? What a national disgrace...

...it'd be interesting to read the entire 4 affadavits to secure a FISA warrant to surveil Page to see who he was talking to (the original was re-newed three times, using separate findings of probable cause...) ...guess he kept speaking to some bad Russians...I doubt if Trump will authorize the release of those confidential documents...

This is he said she said. The memos mean nothing, since we will never see the facts that would support them or deny them. I wonder if president Trump will allow the release of the Democrats memo? In the end all I would like is the truth to be clear for all Americans to see.

the salivators are the cons hoping to convince folks that the dossier was IT...pretty well known already that it is not more than a small part, and that it started from the cons!...and that takes into account that 98.2% is still not public knowledge.

It may all blow over, but you guys sure act like you have the info. I know for a fact I don't have it yet.

Soon enough, relax. You may have nothing to worry about.

no matter how it ends, I'm disgusted to have a president smearing the FBI and DOJ in an attempt to win in the Court of Public Opinion...he's too used to ratings vs quality of the show.

but that was a good example of how the investigation can go where it leads even if it strays far afield.

Whitewater was about illegal inside stuff relating to a real estate deal that, IIRC, resulted in a 200K loss! But illegal is illegal, one does not have to profit to break the law.

Of course it ended with a BJ, but turns out they all got them and most resigned later...

so when folks hope to dismiss the current investigation, they are hoping it's the Ruskies fixed the election, and it could be a looong way from there by now. Might be a BJ, but might be massive amounts of money paid to people who have/had lots of influence in with this administration.

At least that's my guess.

Some won't believe this, but I hope only the actors get charged, I'd rather not have us go through the certain upheaval any iron-clad connection to Trump would cause.

Imagine the chaos and vulnerability it would create. Better to endure a presidency I dislike and hope to vote him out.

Even the co-author of the GOP memo, Trey Gowdy, said the memo would not stop the Russian investigation, which began long before the dossier was launched...

BTW: Gowdy was the primary GOP Congressman who hammered Hillary for years over Benghazi, leading the House's investigation...he's retiring from politics...said he's better suited for the court-room, where he was a successful state AG...
