Pretty much where I'm at, too.

I checked NBC last night and they were showing 'men' figure skating.....not exactly the way to kick the excitement into gear....not sure what else may have been on; switched to Netflix quickly

Wiz1.net should carry every event live... it's a little tricky to navigate the pop ups, but once you've got it figured out it's easy... well worth it to watch a lot of stuff American television would never carry...

I live about 6 hours from Lake Placid which is still an Olympic Training Center. We usually go up there around New Years. We watched live training for the luge. It is absolutely remarkable the power and the speed when you are about 20 feet away from the track.

We also have seen the ski jump in person and those guys/gals are just nuts. The height and distance traveled is so lost on TV compared to watching live.

Unreal.

Athletes should play for the countries where they live. USA would quadruple n athletes.

That's not the way that it works, there are only so many spots per team. That's why athletes who can't make the USA team go to other countries.

Russia has over 100 athletes but will be only be recognized as Olympic athletes. Dumb. If you can't make the USA team then you shouldn't play. Dumb.

Too bad the NHL decided to take their puck and stay home. Olympic hockey is still fun, even the women's hockey is good, will likely be better than the men's this year.

My wife hate when I put curling on. She says it's as boring as watching billiards.
Some just don't get it!

It took me awhile to understand the intricacies of curling. I find it a rather interesting sport to watch. It is also fun to see a sport an average Joe or Jane can excel at.

I find the curling very interesting, Have been really paying attention the last 3 Olympics or so.....Lots of strategy and finesse involved.......I actually looked into giving it a try, but the nearest place to me to join a league or even just give it a try is about a 75 mile or so round trip from home....... no curling for me, but I think I'd like it if given the opportunity

That half pipe event last night was fantastic. My wife and I really got into it. We were so nervous for White. I have to admit that we cheered when his score was announced.

I also really enjoy watching curling. I also wanted to try it but couldn't find anywhere near me that has it.
