Here are the guidelines to play; please read all before posting.
Looking for a dozen players with a ship date on or around March 10th.
1. Each player will send five cigars to another player which I will randomly post.
2. Of the 5 cigars, one high end, one medium and one yard gar. The other 2 will be cigars not on cbid auctions.
3. High end above $10, medium $9-$5, yard gar under$5 (no Gurkhas, infused, 2nds or junk)
4. The first 3 listed above will be unbanded and numbered in no particular order.
5. Twist, you must include something from your hometown or homemade, hot sauce, jams or any local treats.
6. Once you receive your box post on thread what you received.
7. Smoke the unbanded cigars in any order and write a review of the cigar.
8. You can guess if it was the high end, medium or yard gar along with the exact cigar if you would like.
9. Senders should not post what they actually smoked until all three reviews are complete.
10. Please try to smoke all three unbanded cigars in a timely manner, within a month.
If you haven’t made and trade on cbid or have questions please pm me.

I agree, David and I have been paired a few times on trades like this and bombed each other a few times on the side. He might know my entire stash by now.

Some new names for this it looks like this spring. Should be a ton of fun!

Sounds fun but my palate just isn't sophisticated enough for the blind review portion of the game.

It's rare any of us guess the cigar, and taste is subjective so it is all in fun really.

I always enjoy reading these reviews, especially when a rocket dog performs fantastically or a high end miserably.

10,11,12,1 order is exactly the same as last year. Guess I'll have to step it up. Pretty sure tampa thought all my cigars were dog rockets last year.

Ya, one time I played this, and got home from a night of drinking and the dog rocket I smoked got the best review it's ever got in it's existence.

Was a great night (wife was drinking toAngel

Shaun I didn't think about it until now but will be gone Wednesday to Sunday this coming week so next Saturday would be fine if that works better in your schedule. Wife stopped the mail so it will be safe at the post office and not sitting outside the house if Monday works better.

Here's my first review, gents.

Cigar #1 looks to be a 6x52 shade-grown. It has a triple cap and aroma is lightly sweet. Not infused-crap sweet. But like a gentle waft of baking bread-smell sweet, with very faint tobacco notes. Well-constructed, firm without being over packed.

I decided on a punch-cut, which gave the perfect amount of draw. Toasting and lighting go off without a hitch. First inch has sweet, light tobacco overtones, with some bitter acrid undertones. After the first inch, the bitterness resolves and the flavor deepens through the first and second thirds. Aroma reminds me of what I imagine bread baking at a barbeque would smell like. Thick, copious smoke. Grey ash holding on nicely. Retrohale is a nice, spicy compliment to the thick, meaty-sweet flavor. Razor sharp burn line.

Honey flavor blossoms at the 2-inch mark. Flavor deepens beyond baking bread to something else. Something more meaty. Like a crusty honey-glaze on a cut of poultry. The ash held on firmly until nearly the 3-inch mark. Spiciness builds significantly into the third third. Nicotine (or possibly lack of sleep) hits. It is pleasant, but don’t ask me to do my taxes or brain surgery. Third third ramps up in spice until it seems like it’s from a different cigar. Very interesting. I put it down with an inch left to go. Temp has dropped outside and my fingers are going numb. Great cigar.

My guess is that it is DE UC Shade...

As usual, I love how the lack of a band increases my mindfulness as I smoke. Thanks, Chazbo! I look forward to reviewing the other two!

Thx, Shaun. I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to taste all that Kohnhed describes in his reviews, but I have fun trying. I just finished another cigar tonight (Surrogates Bone Crusher) while visiting with a friend. Much different experience. I wasn’t as mindful of the flavors because I was focused on my friend and the conversation. Super enjoyable, but in a different way.

Wow...and this is why I didn't play. This is way out of my palate's league. That is some review.

Got a great looking group of cigar from Phil today that included the 3 mystery cigars, PSD4, and a PAM 64 in a fancy square tubo that looks really nice. Also, was a 32 ounce can from Hyperion Brewing of Oatmeal Stout, that should hit the spot! Looking forward to reviewing these cigars. Thanks Phil!!

Just Relax's landed today. Very nice indeed. Bottle of homemade wine, salsa, and peach butter. Along with the three mysteries were 4 other fine cigars.

Ypetryna, yours goes out tomorrow.
