This after her doubling down on how bad Americans are in flyover country! Deplorable 2.0

Run DNC

It will be hard to win anything with her in front of cameras...behind a microphone...out in public.

Wake up...she wasn't elected. She's overseas pleading her case to anyone that will pay to hear it.

Just maybe if she would STFU and go away.

As far as the obsession, the left has written a totally new chapter and versus as far as Trump compared to the right with Obama and Hillary.

Just so you know.

cool double dip...
perpetuate obsession and then deflect in a thread that is yet more...Obsession!

Speaking for my liberal self, I have no idea where she is or what she is doing...not news to me, she lost.
I only learn of what I'm supposed to be thinking and doing here, among the weirdly obsessed.
I have failed the assumptions...can I be the only one?

I accept that Trump won. Join me...but in the spirit of the American way, both praise and criticism are in play, as they are for all duly elected office holders.

Frank, deflection, double dip or whatever you want to call it, that is fine with me. Would not expect you or the other lefties to know where I’m coming from. Don’t really care if you understand or not.

Most of you have not served in the military and that’s ok but most of you don’t have a clue when it comes to the proper handling of classified info or systems. And furthermore, most of you don’t give a crap. Will mention that the UCMJ provides harsher consequences for military personnel than civilian law does for the sitting politicians when it comes classified info.

Being a base level peon and never breaching protocols for classified info or systems for over 20 plus years, I would expect more from the sitting Sec of State at the time. At a minimum she should have been charged just the same as Gen Petraeus and/or John Deutch. But we all know the fix was in from Obama down through the DOJ and the FBI for Hillary. Can’t connect the dots for you, only you can do that.

Hope the left keeps her on point but really, she should STFU and go away.

As always with Hillary, her greatest asset is the exact same as Bill’s was. They know where all the bodies are buried, but worse yet, they don’t mind adding to that pile. There, I have said enough.

I think of this on pretty much a daily basis ... it's difficult to overstate what an embarrassment Trump is, but he certainly presents a challenge for those willing to give it a try ... and I realize that "But Hillary" has become a cliché, but ....

As bad as it is to have Trump as President, it could have been so much worse ...

then why is her every breathe reprinted here daily? You guys are keeping her newsworthy. I honestly do not follow her currently as she is not a candidate nor in a position to influence the direction we take as a nation. When I gather with my co-conspirators at meetings on how to ruin the country, or even just to have a beer and a smoke, the subject of Hill absolutely never comes up...the Obsession is owned by The Right.

She lost.

But you are allowed to state displeasure with the current administration, even if you voted for it.
Ever disparage Trump for his deferments? I'd imagine that must be eating you up inside when thinking that he is the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. No?

Seems like inconsistent standards to me...or should I insult you right back by saying I know you couldn't understand?

Give me a break, I'm quite capable of cosidering all points of view

Just curious Frank, did you hear her comments from yesterday? If so, you agree or disagree with them?

I find it odd that it is the right that is keeping her in the news when it is she that is placing herself in the news spot light every other week at a minimum. Seems that the DNC would tell her to STFU and go away. Sorry I’m having to do their job for them.

As far the Obsession for Hillary, I think that is shared to some degree by the left and right but from different perspectives as one would expect.

I have stated before in this forum that in a perfect world I would not have voted for Trump. Is he presidential? No. Should he keep his moth shut. Damn right. Do I have to say anything about it? Not in the least, I have the left leaning media and the obsessed left doing it for me. And besides, thought that was how all New Yorker’s acted.

Frank, you bring up Trump’s medical deferment. As far as I know he did nothing illegal and utilized the system. There would have been or should have been some medical documentation to base the deferment on. They just did not take his word that he had a condition. If that was the case no one would have been drafted. Frank, so you know I’m about to deflect. You never bring up President Clinton’s ROTC letter? I digressed, back to Trump. As our Commander in Chief, President Trump is backing our military and allowing them to do their job. That is something that did not happen in the prior eight years.

I would agree that there are inconsistent standards. The right is expected to do what the left can’t, will not or has not done.

And I also am capable of considering all points of view.

I share Frank's frustration and confusion. I watch at least some Fox News nearly every day....I get so pizzed off that you can't turn them on without seeing HRC, Pelosi, Warren or Maxine Watters....all with bitter complaining about them....It isn't the least bit educational, productive, nor entertaining -- what it does is play to some 'base' and amp up the enmity --- As someone who shares most of the values that I believe Fox News stands for, I'm insulted by their approach most days

well put...Hillary is not mentioned on CNN or MSNBC. As a matter of fact, most pundits in the left leaning media are saying the party is moving away from the old guard (Clinton, Biden, Pelosi, Schumer).

Fox doesn't deviate much from feeding Trump and his base... besides ridiculing prominent female Dems, like Trump consistently does, Fox continues to attack the FBI and the Mueller investigation, like Trump does consistently...it almost seems as if Fox News is broadcasting stuff that they know the President would like to hear...or stuff that he would want to broadcast if he was putting their shows together...

Frank, I don't give two **** about Hillary, I didn't vote for her.
I read the Chicago Tribune every day and I can't remember the last time that they had a story covering Hillary (maybe they have and I just skim by them without even thinking about it).
Obviously our fine rightist friends here are getting their news spoon fed to them by some alt right source, probably as a deflection on the action of the orange mongoloid that they elected.
Hillary is a non-story, yet the trump lickers just can't let her go.

within the Dem Party there are calls for Pelosi et al to hand over the keys. Even to step down/retire, not step aside.

One would think this would be greeted with support by the righties, that they would be encouraged by a chance to work with new blood, but they aren't getting that news from their outlets...

now, remember, I am not a Dem, though a Lib primarily, and I very rarely watch ANY of the partisan sponsored news, but even The Boston Globe features the new breed rising. Locally, Sen. Seth Moulton has bucked the powers that be. He's not alone...and since military service was front and center earlier today, he was a Marine.

Some of the folks here keep complaining about how Hillary handled classified info, yet never mention that the orange retard had over 100 people who hadn't gotten their security clearance in the White House.

Included in that group was his SIL, Kushner, a guy $1.6 billion in debt on a single property with no way to get that money by 2019. Yet this severely compromised person is getting the PDB and other top secret info. crickets

Then you have the wife beater who handled every piece of paper that would go to the orange f**ktard, no security clearance, crickets

BUT HILLARY

Two different situations but you would not know that because you are more interested in slinging as much stuff as possible and seeing what sticks. I stand by everything I have ever said on this forum about Hillary and her staff concerning the mis-handling of classified.

If any of the 100 you speak of were guilty of mishandling classified then they should punished accordingly. More than likely all of these individuals were operating with an interim clearance which is very common.

The SIL's clearance was down graded from TS to Secret which will limit the level of info he has access to. Did he try and hide his dept from clearance investigator's? If he did then he should pay the price. If he did not then there is nothing from this stand point that he can be compromised on.

No clearances? Really?

Back to your slinging.

just looked it up...here it is...

Burner02 wrote:
In this situation that occurred in a school facility you would rather take on a 3" or 3.5" 12 gauge magnum, cylinder bore, and tube extender loaded with 00 rather than a semi auto rifle?

that's a tough one...we trained with Remington 12 gauge shotguns in the academy, and I was crap with them...but they were considered to be the ultimate home defensive weapon according to the instructor/armorer...with 3" or 3.5" magnum loads, phew...deadly and superior stopping power at short distances...

hopefully I will never have to confront either, but since you asked...as with any other emergency, always picture yourself in that scenario and develop a survival plan...

the 12 gauge with a tube extender using 3" rounds would have a max capacity of 8 shots...fewer if using 3.5" mags.

With a typical classroom being roughly 30' x 30', the 00 spray pattern would be 12" max. Reloading the shotgun would take much longer than popping in a magazine in the semi-auto rifle...

Hopefully the shooter isn't as proficient as knokmdown...most aren't...

Survival strategy would be the same for someone with a shotgun or semi-auto rifle...it's best if you can, but if you can't run away or barricade yourself...as a last resort when confronting anybody with a gun, use any distractions (shouting/screaming; throwing available stuff - books, coins, backpacks, purses, chairs at either the shooter or at other objects, hoping he'll expend some ammo shooting at inanimate objects) while taking cover behind anything available... take a peek when there is a pause...

then rush the shooter when his weapon is empty and incapacitate him...get there quickly...

Because of the lower capacity of shots and the longer amount of time reloading a shotgun...I'd rather face that...
