I am not really talking about this from a liberal point of view. I am finding the constant daily bombardment of hysteria very tiring. I an no longer watching televised news for this reason. I do a quick check on the internet to see what is happening. Does anyone else feel this way?

Agreed. I feel like an extra in a Marx Brothers movie.

This can't get healthy.

It's not the 'news'.

It's just a bunch of children babbling on about stuff they don't understand and don't really care about.

But they think they are the smart, cool kids... so it's ok.

I dunno...I'll still tune in to CNN, MSNBC and Fox on most days, just to see what the left thinks about the latest Trump adventures and to hear the right complain about the left's description of Trump's actions, repeat his words as the wholey gospel, praise him for whatever he did, and criticize whoever he complained about...

for down-the-middle news ... internet...

I tune in every now and then to the BBC cable news broadcast...gotta pay attention though, because they speak English with a severe accent...

With a former reality TV show host in the highest office of the land, one whose personality demands daily attention and drama, treating the country as his personal sound-stage and handling the nation's affairs like a reality TV show, and whose judgement and competence is questionable, it's hard not to tune in because each day presents another opportunity for a train-wreck of epic proportions...almost must watch TV...

The best part of my divorce. She was addicted to having FoxNews on in EVERY room on EVERY tv.

Got rid of her...got rid of the B$ screaming about nothing garbage.

I'll NEVER watch news on TV. I just don't GAF about it that much to donate my time to sit there and stare at the pixelated box.

The news these days reminds me of the famous line of Oscar Wilde who sitting next to a woman who wouldn't stop talking finally said: "madam do you have any unexpressed thoughts ?"
