What bourbon do I prefer with my cigars? Let me count the ways.

I have much more bourbon experience, my cigar awareness is going to have to catch up. Angel

My wife is so tolerant. Pray

Nice assortment. Applause

But...

You have some unopened bottles of some fine bourbon (ETL, Blanton’s, Russell’s Reserve, Whistlepig, EHT)...what are you...a hoarder? Shame on you

Anyone a collector of the Blanton's horse racing cork tops? I'm mid collection myself. I'll need to buy the display rack at some point as well.

Ron,

I foolishly threw away my first bottle top but the top for my SFTB is yours if you want it. This one is “O” - looks like the horse is in full gallop, his right rear hoof is slightly off the ground, the other 3 legs on the ground. The rider is leaning forward with his right arm lifted but coc%ed. His right hand almost resting on his hip.

My other bottle top is “N” but still unopened so may be awhile before it’s available.

Lmk.

Clint, if Ron doesn’t need the “O” or the “N”, you can have them when I finish the bottles.

If that is a bottle of Pappy VanWinkles on the right side of the shelf the Blanton's is on then you don't have any problems at all.

Nope. That's an old picture. I had a particularly lucky spell and stumbled on some nice bottles so I bought them. The really hard to find ones I tend to ration fairly tightly. I hate to finish one unless I have a replacement for it.

There is a 10, 15, and 20 up there. I finished off the Family Reserve Rye. Frankly I think the 12 and 15 year are the best of the bunch. I'll not buy another of it though. Those were stumbled on at regular retail so I had to pull the trigger on that deal. Odds of it happening again now are slim.

Clint they are all yours, and be sure to tip our Hawaiian friend.

If anyone else has the remaining letters I am happy to pay some smokes to acquire them.

ROTFLMAO! Yep. I feel your pain there. I had the same problem. I stumbled on to a bottle of Elmer T Lee at our Fareway Grocery store. Anxious Yeah, go figure. Snapped it up. It's in that picture. Un-opened. :)

Now I may be able to help with that with a little luck. Walked in the grocery store two weeks ago, they had two bottles. $39.99. I bought both, one for my craft beer/bourbon buddy. We look out for each other. So when I got home, I opened my first one. w:d/

I'm keeping an eye out, if they get another, I'll grab it for you and let you know. Be glad to do it.

Yeah, I won't pay that either. I was on my way to Lake Havasau, AZ for my BIL's surprise birthday. I had figured rather than fly with booze, pick it up there. d'oh!

I get to Vegas, hit a big liquor store, "Hey, you have any Blantons?" "We sure do, come with me!"

We go to the back, there is a big fingerprint lock glass vault, we go in he get's the bourbon, we go to the register.

I grab a bottle of water, he rings it up and says "$243.62 please."

I said, "How much was that water?"

$240 for Blantons. Dude, this isn't Pappy. No, put that back, I settled for some EH Taylor for Tommy. He liked it.

Pricing on bourbon kills me these days. Brick wall

Never tried Blantons. At that price, I don't think I wanna try it.

Maybe when the doc tells me I got two months to live...
