The economy is strong.
You're not going to be impeached.
It looks like you're going to run unopposed in the next election. (Biden? Mayor Pete? Bloomberg? Really?)

Now do us all a favor and start reducing our National Deficit.

I don't understand how we can let $1T in debt loom over our heads.

You want to be remembered favorably in the history books?
Channel our riches to pay off our debt.
It's not glamorous.
People will complain when non-essential programs get cut.
But it's time to wear your big-boy pants and take one for the team.

Thank you.

This should have begun with “Our Heavenly Father” and ended with “Amen”.

Btw - Trump was impeached. Or did you mean he is not going to be impeached a second time?

You call that Pelosi witch hunt an impeachment?

The one where they had 17+ witnesses and "knew" they had the goods on Trump to git 'er done? Because they had enough "proof"?
Only to cry foul and claim they needed MORE witnesses for the Senate? Because they needed THAT "proof"? because this time it's REALLY REALLY proof positive.

The one where they pushed to move towards impeachment quickly because it was critical to our country.
Only to then delay submitting to the Senate until that witch hunt Pelosi felt the timing was right?

The one where the "proof" is hearsay?

that one?

LOL!

This is russia russia russia all over again.

It's disappointing that so many can't see that.

He won't do it.
Like Obama didn't do it.
And BushClintonBushReagan didn't do it before him.

The American voters need to DEMAND two things:
1. Term limits.
2. Eliminate the deficit.

This is a non-partisan plea to all voters.

All political. If the Democrats were interested in the truth why didn't they take to White House to court to enforce their supeoneas?

it would have taken so much time, and then the argument of "why not let the people vote" would've been more compelling...remember McConnell used that argument in February 2015 to avoid advise and consent on a SCOTUS nomination and his peeps said he was right...GOP/cons and right leaning independents would've been ballistic if the impeachment investigation was still on-going in 2020...so Dems decided to try a fast break while WH did a four corners...

never realistic to think that the Senate would've convicted and removed, regardless...so score some political points and hope it buttresses your case for 2020...

The election rides on the shoulders of the undecided. We’ll have to wait and see how the kangaroo court proceedings play with those not cemented in their political persuasions.

Maybe when they finish the Hillary investigation and lock her up they will have time.

I understand thinking there are shady mother fuckers there but to turn around and support the original orange shady dilutes things.

And this is why the deficit never gets addressed.

People literally don't care.
They'd rather rant about the lesser things being fed to them.

but cutting the debt isn't Trump's style...his history is to rip through assets he doesn't have until he is forced into bankruptcy...

he did it four times while running his personal business, and he seems willing to do this to our country...and he doesn't have to worry about bankruptcy...not that it ever deterred him...and impeachment is like a slap on the wrist compared to bankruptcy, so if he is re-elected the dept will skyrocket...

Obama was criticized for increasing the US debt...Trump will increase the debt by about the same amount (about $5 trillion) as Obama did in his first term...

I’ll give credit where it is due - just to show my integrity.

Bankruptcy is one of Trumps superpowers. This man can burn through OPM and crash a business like a Zero hitting the Pacific. On fire. Screaming.

Hotels, Casinos, Trump Beef, Trump Vodka, not to mention morally bankrupt.

So, he is not totally without skills.....

In order to reduce our debt, we're gonna need to stop some entitlement programs... if we do that a lot of libs' heads will assplode.

Also need to revamp the gov't, and the way they do business and award contracts... and we also need to stop giving money to ALL countries until we're no longer at a deficit.

the big elephant in the room, that can stand a haircut and exceeds the amount spent on entitlement programs, is defense spending...

Not my liberal head. Let start with corporate entitlement. We just gave them and their owners the biggest tax cut ever.

So letting people keep the money they earn is entitlement? By all accounts a lot of it is being reinvested in this here country.

But you'd rather the gov't took it and mismanaged it, like they do all of our tax dollars?

Rhetorical questions.

I truly struggle with your meaning here. Operating in the US tax free as an entitlement? You mean corporate welfare - right?

Then yes - make the bastages pay tax like us. We invest too, and more than them.

Btw - which of your entitlements would you cut to help balance the budget of our great - sorry, soon to be great country?

If their taxes are being "cut" that means they were, in fact, paying taxes.

How much do you want to pay in taxes? Like most of us... I'm sure the answer is very fkn little.

I might be wrong, this is not my long suit, but what I have heard is the cuts supposedly promised to stimulate new orders of equipment to further stimulate Made in America...initially orders increased for a couple of months and then the tax savings ended up being diverted into buying back shares...increasing the wealth of the owners/major shareholders...and much of the rest went to bonuses for doing that wealth building.

Factory orders for American equipment flattened immediately. This was the permanent part of the massive tax cut.

The part where worker bees pocket a few extra bucks each week will expire...and has led to the largest surge in deficit, unprecedented negative results in economies of strong growth.

I'll understand if this gets picked apart, I'd prefer it be from economy experts rather than Trump sycophants...numbers instead of partisanship.

here's an article that discusses the Trump tax cuts: 1) slight benefits to average Americans 2) larger benefits to wealthiest Americans 3) largest benefits to American corporations.

Tax cuts to individuals will expire...corporate tax cuts are permanent...

down the road, average Americans will have to pay the bill for the deficits caused by these tax cuts...

We've taken all you've given
It's gettin' hard to make a livin'
Mr. President, have pity on the working man

We ain't asking you to love us
You may place yourself high above us
Mr. President, have pity on the working man

I know it may sound funny
But people ev'ry where are runnin' out of money
We just can't make it by ourself

It is cold and the wind is blowing
We need something to keep us gong
Mr. President, have pity on the working man

Maybe you're cheatin'
Maybe you're lyin'
Maybe you have lost your mind
Maybe you only think about yourself

Too late to run, too late to cry now
The time has come for us to say good-bye now
Mr. President, have pity on the working man
