Trump on the other hand was all class. Speaking of hands he wouldn't show proper respect to shake her hand.

And face it: Trump didn't shake Pence's hand, and it's not even clear if he saw that vile claw she extended anyhow.

It was all calculated politics. No less no more. Should have she been more respectful? Certainly. Should Trump have done the historically correct mannerism and shook her hand? Certainly. In truth I am very curious what the Democratic party will look like 2 presidential elections from now. It is a sad day when Nancy is one of the more logical voices in the party.

I doubt if there's been too many times when someone is found not guilty and they walk over and shake the prosecutor's hand.

Not just her, but Schiff, Nadler, and the rest of the lynch mob, as well.

Shook her hand?
I'm not convinced he even saw it.

Besides, the disrespect began with her introduction of him.
So the handshake snub evened the score.
Tearing the speech will be a turning point in the failed democratic bid for the white house.

Funniest response I've seen:

"Did you see Nancy tear the speech?"

"Speech? I just assumed it was the Constitution."

Despicable!

Pelosi should be ashamed of her actions and reaction to the SOTU address.

However, as with the majority of democrats, she has no shame...

Not to drift but an Ohio congressman (and a couple others ) walked out. The guy from Ohio was boasting about it on twitter. Kinda wish I was in his district so I could vote against him.

Why bother? You've shown an inability to process conflicting information on much less partisan topics. Seems like trying to do what you ask here would be as futile as trying to teach a pig to conduct an orchestra.

The speech was over, right? Sure it was a bit of political theater, but not sure why anyone gaf. What was she supposed to do? Ask Trump to autograph it for her grandkid?

Very troubling. If it had anything to do with the claimed handshake dis, she should have been the better person. If it was truly for political theater, I still do not think she should have done that in the chamber- Here own Democratic caucus would have been fine with me. After all, you really think she keeps stuff like a speech?

Just asking for clarification. It's usually best to make sure that's exactly what someone is suggesting before you lube up your hand.... (trust me, I learned that the hard way)

I suspect it was political theater.
I have been vacillating on this one, between being slightly amused that she's playing the same game that trumpenfurher has been playing the past 4 years and it's causing the snowflakes on the right to whine and being disappointed that democrats are also just devolving to this level of theater.

This is emblematic of what TW has said before. It's great when you do things and let members of your own party get away with it. But it just opens the door for the opposition party to do the same thing.

These theatrics will get worse year after year.

A lifetime politician at the top of the game....two heartbeats away from oval office....considered master tactician of the party...5th...maybe 6th time in that seat for SOTU....does anyone doubt it was theatrics?

what's happening Next Tuesday?

mirror mirror...cons just eat it up when Trump hits below the belt, but can't take someone tearing up his homework in his face...

it's another moment where Nancy is leaving an image of a master teacher reacting to an unruly student...remember when she gave those little small claps to Trump when he said something she approved of in the last SOTU?

or, when she stood over him with a finger in his face in the Oval office?

well she just said this paper you gave me requires a redo...

condescending and patronizing? of course, but he's the one who said he likes to "grab women's puzzies" and she's representing all the women on the left who are saying "grab this"

you sure that's what happened?

how many stories have there been from Pelosi insiders about her outrage, fits of anger, mental meltdowns and knee jerk reactions?

how many insiders have reported numerous such occasions about Trump?
