Crisis comes to every president. It isn't their fault, but it defines them. Trump failed.

Your Drafterism failed. Take 2 aspirin, touch your toes 10 times, and kiss Trumps azz in the morning. Well at least take 2 aspirin and kiss his azz in the morning. It is unfair of me to ask you to do the impossible.

William and I are just good friends.
Just because I have the ability to touch his toes with my deek does not mean you should assume it is part of our relationship.

maybe...but it aint over yet...his approval ratings on his handling of the pandemic crisis are following the direction of the economy...

if the numbers of dead Americans continue to skyrocket and this isn't finished by June, there won't be enough time for the economy to rebound in a significant way before November's election...

and his erratic and incoherent response to the crisis does not show a consistent, calm and competent leadership style that people expect from their leader

If the number of dead Americans get excessive, we can always dial back on abortion for a couple of years to replenish.

population control.... winnowing the herd...may be a good thing

Trump should run on that if the numbers are ultra high

Population control is more of an ultimate solution to climate change. Not really a key issue for Trump.

GOP is starting to turn on that issue...it could work for him...

especially if he talks about how the world's climate/environment seemed to get healthier as the world's biggest nations shut down...

I seriously doubt there is any measureable difference in global temperature from the start of this pandemic until now.

Is the air cleaner? Maybe in certain spots.

I just watched a History Channel show from 2005. A bunch of "climate experts" claiming that NY City and London would be under dozens of feet of ice by 2015, due to man made climate change. Can someone point me to ONE climate change prediction that has actually come true?

I think this pandemic is an example of mankind waiting until a known and real threat is confronting us by killing people and disrupting our lives before we take drastic measures to resolve the crisis.
By then, instead of preparing and being ready, the costs will be dramatically more, in terms of lost lives, resources, standard of living...

I'm curious how you define "fail" in this case.

What would a different leader have done that wouldn't be considered failure?

The answer to that question is ridiculously long.
That you would ask that question suggests you wouldn't believe the answer.

I don't know if anyone else wants to waste time on answering...

The pro-Trump and anti-Trump battle lines have long been drawn here. Nothing related to this virus or anything else done by Trump is acceptable to the anti-Trump camp. You can also replace the word Trump with Pelosi or Obama and the sentence still works.

True to an extent but some will give credit where credit is due such as the telemedicine moves, accelerated provider payments, etc. as well as be critical when deserved.

To you imbeciles that feel the question I ask is invalid, please re-read it.

A statement was made: Trump's actions and/or inaction equates to failure.

Nothing quantitative. Just subjective opinion.

So I asked the author to define success.

Stop thinking that this board needs to hear from you on every subject Karen.

As stated before, your question has been answered in a number of different ways at a number of different steps along the way.

Rephrasing from "not a failure" to "define success" doesn't really change anything.

You haven't seen the answer yet, you won't see it when someone reiterates it specifically for you.

Pretending the only person who can give you this answer is Spey is... juvenile at best.

So let's be clear.

According to victor since a subject has been brought up previously and opinions have been stated, one should not ask a specific person to answer a question in regards to a statement they make.

Do you even hear yourself?
The person who has given new meaning to the term ad nauseam is telling other people when they can or can't ask a question.

Holy f'king sh*t you're stupid.
