I recently found a great sale price on 5 vegas at another site. I tried to get the robustos, but had to settle for the roths. But I received coronas, which I did not want (I have many double coronas from a past CI blowout). ANYHOW, my concern is this. I was packaging the smokes to send them back for exchange when I noticed the country sticker from Dominican Republic and not Nicaragua! Can this be correct? Are they the same? Does anybody know ? Please help. I am partial to Nics over dominicans, and this concerns me greatly.

that is odd, I have 8 different type of 5 Vegas boxes in my humidor and all of them have the Nicaragua label, and I may add all of these I bought from CI! So if you want to be sure, you know where to go to get these in the future.

FYI: we have a very close relationship with the manufacturer producing the 5 Vegas brand. They have notified us that some counterfeits have been spotted. The brand has been produced in Nicaragua since inception and if you suspect any counterfeit activity, you can email me anonymously and I will forward the information. Thanks.

Uh, why would anyone counterfeit 5 Vegas of all cigars? They are not "rare", they cost about $500 per hundred weight, and they are just a good average cigar. You're joking, right gonz?
