Hi All,

Need some help. Got a good deal on 15 Room 101 cigars. Cigarbid sent me 20 Gurkhas. I tried calling and was on hold for 45 minutes.

I also set an online customer service request.

Does anyone know how to get my right order.

They stand to make good money by delivering **** cigars to everyone every so often, by mistake. All that savings disappears when a 58 dollar order doesn't show up.

So initially I thought this was a joke by a vet looking to impart some humor into the forum. I mean, c’mon, the warehouse guys can’t be that dumb, can they? But, iffin’ it is true then man, that’s fugged up!

Rob - iffin’ you can’t resolve this through CS then dispute the charge and see if that gets someone to contact you and make it right.

It's possible. I've had a few incorrect orders over the years. They've always been good about making it right.

Thanks for the comments. Didn't know where to post the question. I have been quickly corrected.

It's encouraging that a few members had quick resolution. I will update when it's resolved.

Thanks!

Not sure what you paid for the Room 101s, but with the $99.95/stick MSRP on those Gurkha’s you just got the steal of a lifetime.Herfing

CelticBomber be working hard! Already close to 10,000 cases.

As you may or may not remember, Corey initially tried to help out but found it too taxing so he turned over the Customer Service Liaison Rep reins to CB. As Celtic approaches that 10,000 milestone and with the upcoming contest, I was trying to figure out when StePHen took over. Can’t seem to find that post but let’s say it started from May 1. Sheesh, nearly 10,000 people seeking help in a little over 6 months! We know CB is a saint and is selfishless so here’s some real rough math to show just hard he’s been working:

10,000 customer / 6.3 months = 1,587 customer per month

But since we haven’t yet hit the 10,000 mark, let’s round this down to 1,500

1,500 customers / 30 days per month = 50 customers per day

50 customers / 8 hours = 6.25 customers per hour (...assuming CB only works an 8 hour shift...)

Holy chit! That’s a lotta people every month, every day, every hour seeking help with their orders!

So yah man, hat’s off to Celtic for stepping up and doing what few, if any, of us could do! ThumpUp

I think celtic regrets starting that contest! He said he greatly underestimated the response and his inbox is stuffed full!

He's busier than an elf, but I talked to him on lunch break to confirm some numbers with him....

he said yes May 1 was his first official day as liason... he technically started 2 weeks earlier, but corey stayed on to train him, thus cs tickets were not in Celtics name until May 1...

He looked at your figures and said 50/day is probably close to the average, but he laughed when he saw the 8hr/day... he says he's probably averaging 12 hours a day, 6 days a week... but he's seen a few 16 hour shifts as well...

But all in all you're pretty close with your calculations...

meh, he's overrated.
I pm'd him about my suspicions that I may have been switched at birth and never heard back.
At least some losers and suckers get Gurkhas.
