Listen Up Black People: Watch and Learn From White Protesters

Black protestors outraged over the death of an unarmed black man, exercising their first amendment rights to freedom of speech and freedom to assemble in several cities across the US have had skirmishes with local police, who have responded to these protests in force, with riot gear and tear gas...arrests, violence, fires, property damage, looting and injuries ensued

this has followed scenes of protests by large groups of white people outraged by local lockdown orders, exercising their first amendment rights to freedom of speech and freedom to assemble...local law enforcement have generally stood back and did not confront these protesters...protests ended peacefully with no arrests...

protesting perceived govt. injustices are an American birthright, but can be done in a peaceful manner, as shown by the white protests against lockdown orders....what can be learned here?

Black protesters should wear camouflage clothing, and sport long beards...they should arm themselves with semi-auto long guns and tactical knives...they should go directly to the chambers of power, enter them and make noise...they should block the surrounding streets...those too tired to walk should protest in their cars, up and down the streets, waving signs and honking their horns...some protesters should display stars and bars and Nazi flags...

most importantly, don't break windows or anything, don't loot businesses in the area, don't set fires...and leave by the end of business or when the cameras go away...

I have less of a problem with rioting than I do looting.

Funny analogy there Al, since you bring that up why aren’t they labeled domestic terrorists that happen to clean up after themselves and not make messes?

Maybe the state police in Mn will murder a protest leader roadside and we’ll see what the media reports.....you know....cops lying about shooting and when they shot n stuff Mellow

Are the FBI sending people in undercover and threatening fringe members with jail time to spy n snitch?

Is the media largely ignoring/marginalizing their cause?

LMAO

Read the Constitution Delta. I don't agree with the protesters, but they were excrsizing their rights, which I fully support. They didn't riot or loot.

Was there civil disobedience? Sure! Mahatma Gahndi would have agreed with their method.

I think you're being sarcastic but you're spot on

The first thing I thought was they should be carrying AR's and AK's and head toward City Hall, instead of burning down random businesses and stealing from Target. The cops would much rather prey on the weak (ppl throwing rocks and letting off fireworks) than have to reason with heavily armed protesters.

There are A LOT of white people out there though, during the Minneapolis riots. They should also take note of the hillbilly protesting strategy.

In the looting footage it seemed there was a sizeable percentage of whites, if not a majority. Maybe kneeling at a football game wasn't such a bad protest.

It's talking about oppression Drafter. It isn't justification of looting, it is explanation of rioting. It's talking about rage, anger, frustration, and more. A simple yet powerful statement. It is a shame that is beyond your comprehension.

Protesters should be allowed.

Rioters should be hosed down and jailed.

Color matters not.

^Accurate.

None of the protesters in Michigan were stealing, looting, smashing things, throwing things at cops.

HOW you "protest" matters. Stealing, looting, and breaking stuff is not a protest, it's a riot. Period.

Absolutly agree. 100% disagree with the Michigan protesters. 100% respect how they protested. 100% respect their right to protest.

Do any of you really think that a large gathering of heavily armed black people dressed in paramilitary clothes could march up to town hall without the police confronting them with force. fog

There's a pair of twitler's tweets comparing his response to the two as well.

01May2020 - relating to mostly white protesters carrying large weapons into the state capitol because they want a haircut and not have to wear a mask.
twitler's twitter wrote:

The Governor of Michigan should give a little, and put out the fire. These are very good people, but they are angry. They want their lives back again, safely! See them, talk to them, make a deal.

28May2020 - relating to unarmed black protesters angry at another black man killed by the cops
twitler's twitter wrote:

....These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!

The guns wouldn't be properly secured in their holsters.
They would be holding the pistols sideways and stuff.

Apparently “protesting” is the new “riot”.

Some of those rioters/protesters better not Have burned any businesses owned by a different skin hue.

Hate Crime.

Btw, where are the lefty government types when you need them most? It’s all safe safe safe safe. Always the most important thing. Saaaaafe.

BUT......... Many of the rioters are not practicing Social Distancing. Oh the humanity!

Yup.

Sure would be great if reasonably sane people could separate the two issues and get to a place to heal both.

Those two people also can’t have any skin. Any pigmentation will destroy the deal.

Blacks tried PROTESTING civilly and Peacefully.. Athletes tried kneeling during the NATIONAL ANTHEM and those here in AMERICA deliberately changed the Narrative and no one wanted to talk or have a discussion. Now everything has come to a boiling 🥵 point, So I guess now we h as be someone’s attention. By no means do I condone the violence but I understand the frustration..

Funny.

The group protesting their right to die and to kill others in a horrific manor brought lots of guns and were largely peaceful.

The group protesting their right to live without constant fear of death or oppression at the hands of others brought few if any guns and are not peaceful.

turns out that the civil protests over the George Floyd murder were NOT exclusively crowds of black people...

it is heartening to see that people across all racial, ethnic and political divides were united in many cities across America to demand more humane and less violent law enforcement and policing in our communities...

it is especially noteworthy that these public expressions stretched to every corner of our nation, not only in black neighborhoods...seems bad policing is commonplace just about everywhere...

glad no-one has been killed given the destructive nature of many protests...

seems law enforcement everywhere understand the dynamics and are being much more lenient in the face of open hatred and hostility to their presence...

hope all this negative energy results in processes to repair relationships between communities and their police

Delta decent Americans are tired evil. They are going to stand for what they believe in. Government needs to get its act together or anarchy will be common. Our laws afford everyone the same protections.

Gene, I think you are correct. To destroy businesses that may never reopen is so morally wrong it is hard to find the proper words to condemn them with.

I understand the protest, but the destruction is insane. They burned down the PO too, WTF?

It's a form of madness taken advantage by some really bad people. Even in the Watts riots they shot Firemen, as a kid I could not understand that at all.

Some interesting videos going around Twitter of conveniently placed pallets of bricks in 3 cities so far. Not in any construction areas, not matching any surrounding architecture.... Just a pallet of bricks.

There's videos of people wearing matching armbands integrating themselves in the protests... These armband colors are different each day. People are unsure if they are cops or some other group.

The video of the AutoZone being smashed was the weirdest... Just some white guy in all black clothing, gas mask, carrying an umbrella.... Casually smashing every window in the AutoZone. When some protesters confronted him to ask what he was doing he replied with "none of your business" and tried to get away.

If they feel they can't breath today, wait until next week.
