Hey, everyone! I'm new to the forum. I discovered the forum side of CigarBid a couple months ago after getting addicted to bidding. I had gotten the advice from a couple members on here to do an introduction post, so here it goes!

I'm Brad, and I live in Rhode Island, with my gorgeous wife and our fluffy cat, Carson. I've been smoking for about 20 years now. My brother got me into cigars when he gave me a Paul Garmirian Petit Bouquet as an introduction to stogies on my 16th birthday. All these years later, I'm still very much into cigars. There's just something about being able to get away from everything, sit on the deck with a cigar, bourbon, whiskey or scotch, and just sit back and relax. I've found that having to devote 45 minutes or more to a cigar forces you to relax and disconnect from the craziness of life, which seems harder to do these days.

I used to be a chef, but got out of the foodservice industry and became a paralegal in an estate planning/elder law practice.

I love almost all cigars, but especially Maduro/Oscuro/Habano wrappers, and robusto and toro as the vitola. Mild, medium, strong, I smoke them all. My only experience with "infused" cigars was with a Java Maduro, which was "alright" but definitely not something I'd buy a box of.

Anything else y'all might want to know, just ask!

Cheers, and stay smokey!

I went to the original in Cranston first and it was so great. Probably ate there 2 or 3 times before I heard of the one on the water in Narragansett...'gansett site was much cooler, obviously, everything else was equal. I think the story was the two brothers split and that's how there ended up being two locations. Could be wrong but that's what I recall.

Aside from the food, the service staff was the best evah! If we went to the Narragansett Town Beach on our anniversary, we knew where we would have dinner.

You all are a funny bunch!!

I'm in Pawtucket. I've never been to the Spain Restaurant, but I know there's one in Cranston.

I got out of the restaurant business because of the ungodly hours and constant stress. But I love to cook and bake still, much to my wife's delight!

Tonygraz, I'll do my best to answer those questions, and pray I'm worthy!

Pancakes.

Much like Anakin Skywalker, I hate sand, so no long walks on the beach.

Ellie Mae (If you mean Clampett)

I do enjoy camping, but have never camped near a river.

Cello on.

Ginger, most definitely.

David Lee (Roth).

Sidney Toler (who else could have played Charlie Chan?).

Luckily, I've never been to any prison, but I appreciate the "Airplane!" reference!

I liked the movie "Gladiator" but don't think I've seen any other gladiator movies, besides Ben-Hur.

I love all animals, but I suppose I'm more of a cat guy. They're pretty much self-sufficient.

Women.

Fold.

Sit.

TP.

****....when Data died in Star Trek Nemesis, I cried.

Butter. Everything is better with butter.

Pancho.

And sorry ZRX1200, those teets are for my enjoyment only! Lol!

Welcome. You would have to be a soulless blob not to have cried when Data died or to not like butter! Pretty nice group of people here. Some, I would go so far as to say are my friends. Applause

Shoot me your snailer when you get a chance. I won't bite. Sarcasm

Benja, don't get me wrong, I DO love dogs too, and have had quite a few in my life. My wife wants a Golden Retriever in the worst way.

I miss eating out too, although to be on the safe side, I'll wait a little bit longer.

MACS, I was born in Warwick, and then my family moved all over the place, to New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Vermont. I ended up back in Rhode Island for the last 13 years, currently in Pawtucket.

I used to work at the Greggs in NK, beautiful town!

ah, Rhode Island, where such beautiful things can be heard by the locals (especially Wooon-sock-ETTE)

throw me down the stairs my hat

and

they were walking side by each

Pawtucket isn't very far from the MA border.

a few of us MASSHOLES get together every several years, like locusts.

Frankj1, holy crappolli, you are too right! That's almost exactly how I pronounce Woonsocket! But I'd never be caught dead saying "side by each" although I've heard it a few times!

I'm probably 5 miles from the Mass. border. We go over to North Attleboro quite often.

Whereabouts in Mass are you?

I worked at The Carriage Inn and The Red Rooster Tavern washing dishes and bussing tables in HS. I think the Carriage Inn is still up and running... not sure about the Red Rooster.

I'd give my left nut for a plate of stuffies and a bag of fresh clam cakes.

The Carriage Inn and the Red Rooster Tavern are still there and open, although limited due to the coronavirus....

I hear ya MACS! If it weren't for this damned diet, I be stuffed with stuffies, clam cakes and doughboys from Iggy's!

I think almost everyone does/did until the company I worked for would run those 3 page ads in the paper buying all sorts of valuables. We drew mostly folks in Providence, since the mob owns the State and the laws wouldn't allow us to operate in RI.
