Stating what I see as clear and obvious is honest. What gives you the right to tell me to examine my concience? Extreme conservatives such as you need to toughen up or go to their safe place. Ron, take hate crime and racist with this context. If a white man murdered a black child in this way it would be a hate crime and everyone would be screaming racist.

You are correct......but is it a hate crime......is the white man a racist?Just because people knee jerk react to things like this does not make them right.

All I see here is the murder of a child.The person that commited this heinous crime may very well take the reason why he did so to his grave......and that's fine with me as long as what little life he has left is as miserable as legally possible.

I would say in both situations we do not know. But I am tired of the double standard. In truth hate is not a crime. The crime is the crime. I see hate crime as double jeopardy. Also racism has no business even being considered concerning a crime. Again, the crime is the crime. I am just tired breaking the constitution to be politically correct.

The suspect is a neighbor, and was friends with the family. The kid's father said the guy had dinner and drank with them the night before. Killer was seemingly a friend, and something happened. Is this story really about race...or more about mental health?

No one should sit back and dictate whether a crime was based on hate or race for that matter.The crime should be examined at face value PERIOD.

When leftist stop bringing race into every aspect of our life the racist,mostly leftist in my opinion,will have nothing to feed on.We are but one race.....HUMANS

I totally agree...and have been hoping for the longest time that we get there sooner than later...but sadly, it wont happen in my lifetime, and seems further away.


BTW: look at the OP...MACS is def not a racist...
