Acquiring such high-quality cigars from such a fine company as CBID/CI, at prices that seem almost as if you are stealing from them, I feel guilty and remorse when I receive my shipments.

Do you feel, and/or have you felt the same way? Discuss.

Nope. I make sure I bid full retail so I don't feel that way, it also helps so I don't lose a bid on something I want, NEVER lose a bid! (Unless it's to me)

There's nothing worth buying here that you can't get at a better price elsewhere.

Every once in awhile you can get a good deal on a good cigar but it ain’t gonna be on a Fuente, Padron or Tat.

And this has never been much of a site for boutique brands so a lot of my business has gone elsewhere.

The outfit that owns CBID is making a fortune and even more now that covid increased their sales and profits even more. Yet they can't seem to hire enough people to answer the customer service phones. Not sure if they want to keep costs low while sales boom or if they just don't want to stop their bottom line from rising dramatically.

THis^

Some of the regular decent buys of the past included the Jaime Garcia Rob on FF for $17ish.
Pipe baccy prices could be really good on occasion......... but that is a rare occurrence now.
Recently, the Melanio tenski on FF for $43 was a good buy, but I haven’t checked it in a while to see if that is still on.

MAP = Minimum Advertised Prices. Most manufacturers and brand owners impose price restrictions on sellers. This removes price competition, and locks in market share for established retailers.

Rarely do I see anything on cbid that catches my eye. In recent past, you could snag some God of Fires for real cheap, I recall seeing the anniversarios going for like $140 on free fall. And before they bought Thompson, Thompsons used to have some killer auctions. Plus Thompsons didnt have a bunch of the house brands that clutter cbid today.

It's kinda silly that the best deals on NC cigars that I've gotten have been through Cuban cigar sites recently.

The only time a retailer will sell something at a loss is when it benefits them.

So I feel comfortable knowing that while these cigars are heavily discounted, they are not being sold at a loss.

If the retailer is winning, Why can I get a little win also. No guilt here.
