on March 30, 2020, Trump said, "if we can keep the number of deaths between 100,000 to 200,000, we'll have done a good job."

Yesterday, he gave himself an A+ grade for his handling of the corona virus pandemic.

the number of Americans who've died from COVID19 went past 200,000, in less than 6 months...

You have not done a good job, by your own words, Mr. President.

I think he means that no matter what Trump does, to those with TDS (AL) it doesn't matter, it's wrong. Blaming him for covid deaths is like saying he's responsible for all the people's underlying medical conditions for which covid becomes lethal.

China created virus. China let it spread world wide. Even the dems were touting that things were under control... until they weren't. Lest we forget Piglosi in China Town...

Remember when it was a 2 week lockdown to flatten the curve?

but wouldn't the same logic make it ludicrous to give oneself an A+ when the country has far surpassed what he had set as the "great job" over/under?
Forget blame for a minute when thinking TDS, how much TDS does it take to take credit for not beating the numbers he set as the positive number?

If I failed miserably to meet a level I personally established as "pretty good", it would be lunacy for me to pat myself on the back with A+ as we watched that goal crumble and could even become far worse.

Dr. Fauci announced that a vaccine could be available/distributed to all Americans by April 2021...

four different vaccines are at various stages of Phase Three trials in the US...Moderna, Pfizer BioNTech, Johnson & Johnson, and AstraZeneca Oxford....if the results are certified effective and safe and the vaccines are approved by the FDA, I'd strongly considered getting inoculated...

Over weight,heart and lung problems, diabetes and other pre-conditions all counted not as the primary purpose of deaths. C-19 as cause only not as the catalyst.

What are the numbers on these deaths only, just saying.

It's still less than the 1million+ that's what the know-it-alls first estimate were.

Pfizer's CEO thinks their Phase Three testing will be done by end of October...then the results have to be evaluated by an independent agency...that could take a month or so...

hopefully it will be safe and effective (at least 50%) and ready for production...

prolly take a couple of months to produce 330 million doses and maybe another to distribute and set up dispensing sites...

Cuomo was a hero among the proles back when he was having his daily briefings on TV, spouting out fear, dictates and specious data. He even had a approval rating of 80% among Republicans. It shows you what suckers the majority of people are.

In California we have 350K more cases than New York. New York still has twice as many deaths as California.

At least he addressed concerns while they died.

Yes, well Cuomo did state the obvious, “Older people, vulnerable people are going to die from this virus. That is going to happen despite whatever you do”

He just decided to do something and speed things up a bit.

Can you imagine if Trump said that? We'd never hear the end of it.

Where did the 200,00 number come from? Was it based on anything other than pulling it out of someone's a$$? Was it based on those models that were so predictable - almost vanilla - in how they numbers matched these models?

What happened to all those models, I don't see them being paraded around anymore in any discussions. Hmmm.... maybe the "experts" could have been wrr.... wroooon, wrrooooo... wroooong...
