no joke, this happened.

ordered a fiver of Fratello Oro Wednesday, been wanting to try the corona as I continue searching for mild/med cigars with flavor and these had terrific reviews.

Wednesday's special was like 17% off their regularly pumped up price so it came to $36 for the robbies (coronas were sold out) which includes shipping. Wrapped in bubble wrap encased in saran wrap with a boveda tucked inside the zip lock bag in the middle.

Today is Friday, I smoked one before dinner. They got here (Boston area) from Cali before I got an email with tracking info.

I think it's probably been close to 10 months/year since I've ordered cigars.

From the description of the packing, sounds like that small place did good. And if it’s the same place I’m thinking of, they get most of my business these days.

it does sound like that site, yes.
I don't collect/store/age cigars anymore. Hit up the local once in a while for a couple Fuentes or LFD's, so this was my first purchase of any kind larger than 3 cigars in close to a year.
Truly expected them to take at least a week (in these times) but they made it across the continental US in just under 48 hours.

Early to declare, but was let down a bit by the cigar, fwiw. will allow a very short acclimation nap before having another...maybe. Gonna be mid 70's today and could be a long time til that happens again!

True, true. You don’t get wicked deals and on a regular basis they’re not always the lowest but being patient and ordering only when they have a special on the brand(s) you’re interested in, coupled with the free shipping, usually saves you money.

yes.
and though I hardly ever buy any cigars anymore, I get the chance to try a 5er of stuff not commonly offered a couple of times a year.
