At the risk of upping the price on these at cbid (they've been dirt cheap), I wanted to make a quick endorsement of the Ramon Allones Ultimo. Long smoke, very even burn and pretty ash, this got a LOT better after two months in the humidor. A little dry and woody before humidortime, but after it had a lot of earthy and nutty flavors. Very affordable and will make you happy. Medium bodied, good for all sorts of times and scenarios.

And, if you care about such things, the box is really nice looking.

Smoked one last night with a rum and vanilla coke, and my hand smelled like cedar and tobacco for a couple of hours. Love that. Very blissful. Sat on a cushy leather couch at a cigar friendly bar, and I didn't even mind listening to the moron I was with ramble on about nothing. Enjoyed the Ultimo that much. Just spaced out on the guy and thought about the cigar and God and related folks. That's my best endorsement.

Anyone else smoke these? Curious.

I also enjoy the R.A.'s. The box I opened was a little dry to my liking. So they are resting for a while.
Good smoke.

Definitely a very pleasurable experience though I noticed my hands smelling of vanilla wafers and starry starry nights. Smoke on, JS
