Has anyone ever received the wrong cigars from Cbid? I did for the first time today, unfortunately customer service is closed for the weekend. What has been your experience on remedying the situation? Thanks

Did you get better or worse than you ordered?

Maybe treat it like a "smoke roulette" and just deal with it?

Who knows, maybe you will like what they sent.

I ordered the Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 50 yr. And I received some type of Diesel with a brown foot band. Both of which I've never had, so I'm not really sure lol

As a Platinum Member™️ I often get cigars I didn’t order.

Sometimes I don’t buy anything at all and a box of Padron 1964 maduros shows up with a note from Shawna telling me how handsome I am and how much she misses my voice.

I called yesterday to update my card (id theft) and I was on hold for 4 mins and 19 seconds. They’re awesome considering the situation they’re in with COVID restrictions that so many seem to be blissfully ignorant of.

CObluelady, you need to private message Celticbomber so he can help you.

Used to smoke a lot of the Exodus 1959 back many years ago. Are they still any good for a moderately priced range (auction prices of around $3 per ciagar) med-full cigar?

Tried ‘em a number of times based on the ratings and the write-ups.
Decent, but nothing there that really hooks ya.
A pleasant but forgettable cigar...

Agreed.

Most of the stuff I buy here at auction are targeted budget smokes: $5 ish plus or minus a couple $ depending on the cigar. My rule of thumb is nothing over 67% CI prices if I put in a max bid. Just middle of the road everyday and walking around stuff.

They really don't have anything special here that's worth the prices unless you want to chase overbidders. In my opinion other stuff can be found at the going rate for equal or better prices elsewhere.

Ditto.

I tried 601 for the first time last night (blue label maduro robusto), and I thought it was right decent. I was pleasantly surprised. Anybody have any suggestions for their stuff?

I also received the wrong cigars recently. It's been 10 days and no response from customer service and no response to phone calls. Very disappointed. They managed to ship out quickly so it can't be Covid. Hope to get it resolved soon or i'll need to find another site.

Although I scroll through the entire list of brands, there are only a couple of cigars I look at to, maybe, bid on. And even then, I bid no more than $2.00 max, in hopes of getting a heck of a steal deal.

I try to snipe your Victor Sinclair's every time I see you bid on them... Maybe you will get lucky, maybe you won't.... Frying pan

Sounds like you received some Diesel Unlimited cigars instead of what you ordered. Not a bad cigar, especially with some good aging. A bit stronger than the CT Exodus, but I prefer the Diesel hands down over the other.

We are all human - and therefore we make mistakes - including the fine folks at CI. Send them an email and wait for a response - or get in line via telephone and break out the popcorn. Their response might take a while, unfortunately.

You might even try lighting one up and see if you enjoy it - then call it even and move on if you find them acceptable.

If you wish - I would be willing to send you a trade for the smokes - just send a PM if you wish to explore that route.
