I have to spend eternity with Mormon and Jehovah's Witness missionaries. Weep for me.

OK, since Jim politely opened this can of worms, let me add another site that's been kicking around for some time now.

Don't look at it as sacreligious...it's more along the lines of inspired irony, if you ask me.

I have been a Ship of Fools and a Mystery Worshipper fan for some time! As a minister, my read is that these are people of faith with a sense of humor!

A cigar and pipe smoking, social drinker, and also a preacher -- like me -- fits in fine!

Sounds like a person could enjoy one of your sermons.

JR -- thanks!

Hope that's true -- laughter, love, common sense, a Bible verse or two and practical truth -- that's my formula....

Few lectures, try to stay away from personal freedom issues on what I consider to be personal choices...
i.e. smoking and drinking ...

I also went through a divorce more than 25 years ago so I don't tend to dispense condemnation. Most people do enough of that to themselves!

I have no problem with that. If more people subscribed to that brand of software there would be fewer hypocrites. The condemnatory hellfire damnation brand of militant Christianity leaves me nauseous. I'm amazed at how many people seem to want and need that. Where do you preach?
