Census Bureau Requesting Sales Records For Gun Holster Makers

The Census Bureau is requesting customer sales data from holster manufactures. They claimit will now be made public, however it pretty clear it will be shard with other government beureaus and possibly states. No warrants, just a demand backed up by a potential fine.

Several major holster manufacturers/providers received notices from the Department of Commerce Census Bureau requesting order numbers, product descriptions, and where the items were being shipped. A few holster companies have refused to turn over the requested information to the federal government.

Some smaller manufacturers only sell by mail order. To make things worse, bricks and mortar firearm businesses face roadblocks from anti-gun politicians in cities and states.
