But in the end I don't think any excuse I could have for just being an idiot would change the fact that they got me by the balls right now and are going to rape me and expect a please and thankyou when they finish.

Live cover band on Old Orchard beach a little south of Portland Me.

Wonderful drive on Kaneamamgus highway past MtWashington . Saw beautiful reds and yellows but I’m sure it would be fantastic in about two or three more weeks,.

Guess I got what I deserved
Kept you waiting there too long, my love
All that time, without a word
Did you really think that I'd forget
And regret
The special love I have for you
My baby blue...

Manchester City scored in under a minute versus Wolves.
Looks like I might be able to walk the dog early.
In the pregame, they dedicated 5 minutes to the Queen.
I guess she died. Who knew?

Long Live the King! REALLY. Long live the King- I don't want to have to endure another 10 day dog and royal pony show in my lifetime.

Happy Saturday, dudes... a bit of college gameday, maybe a TW run to see what they got in the Oktoberfest aisle. Should probably get a haircut, too. Think

That one I accidentally stole. :-"

I had a friend who had one. I was drunk and high and walked to the gas station down the street from my apartment to buy some cigarettes and maybe score some blow - there was a dude there that would sell. But no hookers. Having booger sugar got you the girls, so no need to pay for the pros. When I went outside I saw my buddy's teal Toyota Tercel parked in front of the gas station store idling. So I hopped in and drove it a couple blocks back home and parked it in the alley. I figured he'd either call me or walk to my house because I lived close. He didn't. I passed out.

When I woke up the next morning for work I wasn't sure if it was something that happened or if it was a dream. Went out back and sure enough that car was there. Checked my phone, no messages. Decided I'd fvck with him a little longer. Drove his car to work for a while. Never heard anything. Once the novelty of the joke wore off I called him. Maybe 3-4 days. It was around the time the movie Dude Wheres My Car came out. So he answered and I said dude wheres your car. He said I'm driving it.... uh oh...

Left the car in the alley for a while and quit driving it while I tried to think of what to do. I decided to abandon it in a public place. Chicago pd will tow it and the owner can get it back without much hassle. I lived 2 blocks from the White Sox stadium so I parked it there. Paid cash at the gate, parked the car and walked home. My fvckup was over.

Few weeks later walked to the gas station to buy cigarettes and walked home. But before I got to my building a Chicago pd car pulled up and asked me where I was heading. I said home. He said were you just at Citgo? I said yeah, I picked up a pack of smokes. He got out of the car and cuffed me. Said I was under arrest for stealing that car.. Got cuffed and taken in. Spent a few hours in lockup and buddy with the Tercel I thought I had bailed me out. Got a court date n stuff and knew I had to hire a lawyer. My apartment was above and owned by a lawyer's office. Went to him and told him the whole story. He said we can probably settle with the owner and avoid criminal charges but it'll take money. I was selling a lot of weed at the time and had a good amount of cash on hand. I ended up paying blue book for the car, lawyer fees, bail, court fees, parking/impound fees, and got charges dropped. But it cost me about $8k. Brick wall

I pray to god that this current blunder will be significantly cheaper. But who knows. I got another voicemail while sleeping saying "your car was due back on Monday but we haven't received it yet" Seems like everyone I talk to is different and there's no continuity of communications.

Read something recently that some systems are so jacked up, U-haul in the article, that returns aren't getting processed, and future renters are getting arrested for car theft. Hoping you don't end up with another charge on this one

Was on the same path you were on (minus the dope and hookers). Upon leaving the bar saw my coworker's baby blue Nissan Pulsar. It was running just short of 2:00 AM. Knocked on her window- she didn't open the door, so I did. She wasn't inside. Jumped in, started backing out, when the knock on the window came. Busted. Haha. Rolled down the window, and made eye contact with a woman I'd never seen before. What the frank are you doing in my car!

Being the early 1990's, no video cams and think she was drunk too, I just put it in park and ran into the night.

The wildest thing about your story Danm is you living two blocks from Comisky Park. Was at a Sox game about 15 years ago. The block immediately circling the stadium was fine. Two blocks out it was all needles, barbed wire, high gates and signs to avoid the rats.

You sure you aren't dead?

Yup. That is Hertz. One guy couldn't afford the bail and sat in jail for six months. The lawsuits are are flowing in like high tide.

Yard is mowed. Just sitting here having a cigar break and watching birds eat my Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes off the vine. I’m not gonna use them this year so I’m at least getting some entertainment. It’s the little things in life.

Went to NAS Jacksonville today to get a haircut ($13), some cheap booze (Russell's Reserve Single Barrel for $48.49?!!!, it's $71 at Total Wine) and grab some groceries from the commissary for the missus.

Haircut went well... didn't wait long... walked to the commissary to grab a few things and it was pouring buckets when I got done. Went from no rain to holy sheit am I in the Philippines during rainy season?!

Truck was parked in front of the barber shop/NEX. Commissary is about 150 yds away and I just walked because it wasn't raining. Waited for the rain to at least slow down, but it didn't matter. I was soaked through and my shoes/socks were, too.

I do miss CA weather... I will admit to that.

Gloucester and Rockport today in nice sunny weather. A few more Tree House beers were consumed.

Truth: We have had three lobster rolls at different places and none have been nearly as good as the Lobster Lady food truck in Scottsdale but all cost about $8 more. I guess we have picked the tourist trap places. Clams and oysters have been better.

Just sittin' around drinkin' with the rest of the guys
Six rounds bought, and I bought five
And I spent the groceries and half the rent
Like fourteen dollars and twenty-seven cents

If you sittin' round drinkin' with some sumbeetches who gon let you buy 5 of 6 rounds? You need new friends. If you buying groceries, too? C'mon man. If I invite you over to the house... you're gonna have a place to sleep (cuz we drinkin') and some food in ya damn belly... cuz my wife is Filipina and she feeds everyone who comes to call. And I'm gonna have some drinks. Beer. Bourbon. But I don't cotton to no freeloaders.
