You can't go wrong here but you need to invest in a reloader,dies and components........it'll save you a bundle.
I have a friend who swears by Savage,I've always found the bolts too sloppy being a snobby Browning A-Bolt guy,but he kills what he aims at so they do seem to shoot well.Might be a good purchase
I will second the Ruger American.
It's above Ruger's typical quality.
I will also second reloading nearly everything, but especially for a precision rifle.
