Franco Harris, the Hall of Fame Pittsburgh Steelers running back who was known for making a miraculous grab in the AFC Divisional Playoffs against the Oakland Raiders in 1972, has died. He was 72.

I'll remember him for that Coca Cola ad though.

A strong, quiet leader of my first favorite AFC team.
Will miss him, although we never hung out much.
Rest in Peace, Franco.... And you you are reading this, Franco, there has to be better things to do where you are now than read posts from a discount cigar message board.

The start of the Steelers dominance of the ‘70s.

Franking old guy that I am, I remember watching the game on TV. Bedlam, sheer bedlam after Franco caught it and ran for the TD. No review after the score but years later, there’s still no clear shot to overturn the referee’s call.

Well……….it’s a weird situation, what with all the info wars, and “experts” LOUDLY proclaiming Covid jabs and boosters are perfectly safe…….as safe as all the other “shots” society has received for decades….

And yet, we keep reading about all these folks dying………..cause of death……….um…….something announced later.

I’m simply keeping track of my smallish universe of people I know well, and know casually, who went the “vaccine” and booster route………………………and Ive seen MORE than enough to have zero interest in any Covid jabs.

Healthy, young athletes having strokes is happening, too. The info is out there. You have to dig, though... you won't see the news questioning it.
