Yeah, had it backwards. We would use that around the house when we were together...looking for a lost item? One of us would say that to the other. At a restaurant and couldn't decide what to order? We'd murmur that. Looking for something in a store...bam...using the same dialect...that was the hard part because you wanted to get it out first so dialing in Ruth's accent...while trying hard not to laugh...I love her.
