May as well get this started now. Tell the class why you think the team you picked will win.

Texas and Christian. Sounds good.

May they win this crusade.

Due to a recent gambling loss, I'm contractually obligated to root for the Dawgs.

Aside from that though, I think GA got a good look at what happens if you don't get up and ready for a college playoff game and they're not going to make that mistake again

Love me a cinderella story. Go Horny Toads!

Since I have lived in the Az desert all my life, I use the name they were always referred to here. Interesting creature that kids would keep as pets. All you had to feed them was red ants and if they felt threatened they could squirt blood out of their eyes.

I want Georgia to win, but if TCU beats them it won't upset me. Great story for their franchise, for sure.

I give Georgia the slight edge. I was rooting for MI and OH State, but neither really showed up to play, much to my disappointment.

^What games were you watching?

Michigan played their butts off. TCU played better. OSU was kicking Georgia's arse for most of that game. Georgia pulled a rabbit outa their ass at the end.

Both games looked very competitive to me. YMMV

I agree they were both very competitive/full of action, but
Michigan was just not the Michigan we have come to know this season.

I agree Michigan started a little flat. Not knocking them this time. Just an observation. But I feel like it was the most complete game OSU played this entire season. Had they done the same in November, I believe there would have been a different outcome

Was just looking for this thread. You'll be pleased to know the appropriate championship fan gear has in fact arrived.

Only slight anxiety when it wouldn't unfold for a sec and I thought you sent me a half shirt. I'm shy you know

Wha?.... What? WHAT?!

You got a lotta esplaining to do, Lucy!

As a Michigan guy, how can you want OSU to be in the championship game?
All at once your favorite dies and your biggest foe becomes king?

That silly rooting for your team’s conference. I’ve never understood that, and never will. The others in your conference are the enemy! F em

Will be pulling for the Dawgs but hoping it stays close until the end.

Matchup wise, Georgia D Line is better than TCU's offensive line.
The only place where the Dawgs are average, is in their secondary.
If Duggan can avoid the rush and get into the secondary, the game stays within 12. Maybe even 7.

Is it even possible Georgia could be overlooking this team? Seems inconceivable.

Georgia by 10.

Kind of like high school. You try to get with your dream girl and your worst enemy gets her instead?

Rfenst is maybe just a MUCH better man than I am.

Your conference succeeding brings more credibility to your team. In this case, had OSU won over GA, Mich fans could argue they were good enough to beat GA. Had there been a fully Big 10 National Championship, then clearly the Big 10 is the toughest conference in the country.

There's enemies and then there's enemies, and bowl games make for strange bedfellows

I wanted Michigan v. Ohio State and for Michigan to win a second time this season. I would be very happy if that were the final outcome.

Pregame spread is 12.5 points. I just heard that the last 2 times a team was favored by double digits... they lost the game, outright.

That ain't no good...d'oh!

And yet another TD pass!

Kirby Smart ain’t taking no foot off the pedal. Not talking

My wife asked if there was a mercy rule and I just laughed.

So I was at my favorite watering hole earlier watching the game. Left at halftime. During casual conversation as the first quarter was ending I mentioned that the over/under was 62.5. A buddy said that Georgia would do that by themselves. I was a bit skeptical. Not so much so now. The Dawgs have the entire 4th quarter to score a TD and a FG to reach the O/U by themselves.

Another example of why the SEC Championship game should be replayed each year in lieu of an actual National Championship game.
