June 18, 2007 Kent & Lou Ann Seiz asked to go on Record as of this date that the zoning for 280 E. State St. Remain Multi Residential.

I and 16 other property owners were not given their right to contest the rezoning of their property's in this General Area, This Zoning Board Commissioner at the time during COVID-19 Pandemic took it upon himself to rezone our property's without affording us in their own zoning Ordinances reads:
ARTICLE II SECTION 11.5 OF ZONING ORDENECE: In addition where the proposed amendment recommends a change in the district boundaries by rezoning property, the City Clerk shall mail notice to ALL PROPERTY OWNERS WITHIN 300 feet of any part of the property being considered for rezoning action at least 15 Days prior to the time the City Council holds a public hearing on the rezoning.
Also for the RECORD there is/was NO Special Meeting HELD for this “WRONGFUL ACTION” I HAVE REQUESTED WITH FOIA, A COPY OF SAID ORDENINCE A COUPLE OF TIMES.

PLEASE UPDATE YOURSELF WITH 5 ILCS 140/ Freedom of Information Act.

(THESE LETTERS WERE NEVER MAILED OUT) mine and 16 other property owners were not afforded our right to contest to this change of our Hard Earned Property Tax Paying "RIGHT"


He did this action using a Guez of Re-zoning of Stan Crows Property. even after he'd written Stan Crow a Letter On October 13, 2015 stating that "For His Record" (See letter below)

April 02, 2019 ZONING
Ron Fisher requested to change zoning for Crows Autobody, Mayor Duewer said to Proceed.

May 07, 2019 ZONING
Ron Fisher was in but was still in process of getting the rezoning fixed for Crows Autobody. Tabled till June Meeting.

June 04 2019 ZONING
Ron Fisher Had write up for paper dealing with AG1 and AG2 and wording of feed lots to be omitted

I sent letters hand delivered to each property owners (who this action effected) door (January 27, 2021) asking them to attend the city council meeting on February 02, 2021. only two members showed up. Bob Saddler and Duane Stone. (See copy of letter below)

My question is this: How can a man knowing know that Stan Crows Property was already rezoned supposedly clear back to 1992, but yet use this action to change other property owners zoning without affording them their right to contest?

NEEDLESS TO SAY THE MEETING GOT HEATED WHEN (Ron Fisher Himself stood up and asked "WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?"

I Said, Well Ron Fisher it makes all the difference in the world because I was in conversation with John Narmont on a deal with selling my (Multi Family Zoned) Property!! He made another comment but I was already committed to spit my reply out after seeing this meeting was headed SOUTH!!!

I said, You and I Sir are headed to Court. (I did not say CITY) I specifically called him out for Illegal Actions that cost me MONEY!!!

He Again Blocked a Sale of my Property to Dylan and Morgan Haycraft for rezoning as Dylan and myself had a Handshake agreement for one of my lots so he could put storage units on said Lot. knowing the Church butted up to my property, somehow a rumor got started that these kids were wanting my lot to put gaming and Alcohol on said Property knowing full well the Church would not Stand for that close to their Congregation, THEN he denied starting said rumor? "WELL IN HIS OWN HANDWRITING SEE BELOW BECAUSE HE BROUGHT THIS TO THE CITY COUNCIL IN WRITING" (see below)

FOR THE RECORD: I am glad this transaction did not transpire!!

Now we are Full Circle: on the 20th of this month there is going to be a Special Meeting held for the rezoning of my property 374 E State, from RM (Multi Family) to CG General Commercial so the wife and I can build on our Dreams and Desire (Prosperity) American Dream.

This was actually Verbiage used by this zoning board as to why not to allow My Wife and I to rezone our property? (See Below Zoning Board Recommendation to City Council on my rezoning) P.S. Its in BOLD FONT!!

Put the land up for sale. Let the buyer decide its best use and whether rezoning is necessary or even possible.

If the land has potential to be re-zoned and the buyer sees that it will increase its value significantly. Let the buyer incur the legal and rezoning expense.

Be prepared to sell it on the contingency that it will be rezoned, if necessary. In that case take a bit up front to give the buyer a non-refundable option on the property. Reserve the right to sell it outright if you get an offer from someone else and give the buyer 30 days to decide and pay. Otherwise it goes to buyer number two and you refund buyer number one's money.

This is the best and simplest way for you to do this. You have to admitt you are playing a game out of your league (mine too). It won't require anything out-of-pocket and your realtor(s) and any potential buyer(s) will know what to do and will incur the expenses- as opposed to you paying big bucks to get it re-zoned and getting nowhere.
