Do we really differentiate between what is smoked on the patio and what is smoked wherever else? What’s the criteria? Where is a place you would smoke a non-yard cigar (indoors obviously)?

I’m not smoking a tat t110 for example while I’m gardening for example
If I were just hanging out on the deck I would. A yard far is just a non important cigar that is decent. If I set it down and it goes out no biggie

I can't appreciate a cigar if I'm working in the yard, so I rarely smoke anything good then. Now when I have a drink and a chair (and maybe a brother of the leaf) it;s time for a good cigar or at least a trial of a new one.

I chose a fake cuban as a yard gar the other day, and it kept interrupting me to appreciate how good it was.

Pretty much this. I'd also add things like fishing, hiking, walking your dog (if you have one), handing them out to folks that smoke about 1/4 of it then leave the rest in the ashtray, invited to visit a van down by the river, dancing naked in the rain with an umbrella... any activity where you'd like to smoke a cigar but it's secondary to the primary task at hand.

If you lose it or it gets ruined then it's not a big loss.

Same here. When I used to smoke a cigar while weedwacking, I tended to clench my teeth and drool! After a couple times with marks down my tank top, I stopped trying to multi-task. I will, however, smoke a YG while weeding since I can set the cigar down and puff when it’s convenient. But, always hafta have a lighter nearby ‘cause sometimes I forget to take a puff and the cigar will go out.

^ 😂 💀. I do the drool thing. I wouldn’t mention it but since it’s out there. Yeah. I can either smoke a cigar or just do the task at hand. Not both. I walk out in the garden and yeah pull a weed or pick ripe goodness but anything that requires much focus. I’m not smoking. I can cast a fishing line pretty good and smoke. But there’s not a lot I can do while smoking. Drive a vehicle. I usually don’t even smoke super good smokes then.

Sometimes on the Brotherly site you see pics of guys smoking OX or “good” Cubans in their vehicles. I can’t fathom smoking (…literally “wasting” to me…) a Super Premium while movin’ on down the road, regardless of speed, flatness and straightness of the route. To each his own, huh?

Yes. I’ve tried it. ^^. I do smoke in the truck or tractor but they’re just beaters. I enjoy sitting down and smoking good cigars while doing very little of anything else.

spot on, for the most part.

I'd just like to suggest that if one wanted to smoke a cigar while dancing naked in the rain with OR without an umbrella, one might want to smoke the bestest cigar evah...cuz that might be the last smoke one has for 5 to 7 years, depending on how many times it has happened prior to this incident.

Iffin they plan on dancing in the rain, they best have a big tripod capable of shielding the cigar from the downpour lest it get soaked and go out.
