I wasn’t fishing for camping trips, was making a host spot for guys wanting to do spilts.

Palama necrosis-posted a split thread so I figured post this up and see what guys WANT to split, I hardly even smoke anymore. But if there was something cool we could find and agree on I’d go in on it.

I guess I'd go in with you in the spirit of cooperation and get a 5er if you find 38 others but did you read the whole review? Two of the three needed touch up and seemed under filled to the reviewer. How about something else?

A lot of the trouble I see is more often than not these days there’s no discount on buying a box. Last cab I bought I split with some fellas here. It was substantial cheaper. Anymore it seems 5 packs are the same price per as a whole box. Which is fine I guess.

Some other things too:

1. Minimum from vendors for free shipping is much lower these days so you're not penalized for buying in smaller quantities. While I don't buy nearly as much as I used to, iffin' a vendor offers free shipping on say, orders of $50 or more, they've got my attention. Better yet if they offer sales every so often.

2. Postage costs have increased to the point where you either won't save any money by splitting, or you could actually pay more after all is said and done.

3. Less active members here along with losing members who used to QB splits (...and trades and box passes...).

Yup…

As Palama said though the problem is shipping, so take this for example, if we had 40 guys in on that box…that’s $408 shipping to everyone

You just missed the 20% off on Tats a couple days ago. I *almost* bought some Franks and Jasons but held off. But, they cycle through the brands so it’ll come back soon enough.
